Love the .99 for 12 months Black Friday promo otherwise I would likely not be a subscriber! However, I am looking to reduce/eliminate my cable expense and this is an excellent way to see what channels/stations are available and what add ons I would need to replace my current line-up w/Uverse.
I recently stopped my cable with Comcast because the amount that I paid monthly was not worth what I watched. So, I teether off my cell to get WiFi and watch Hulu. Thank you for helping me save money while watching the same programs that I watched before.....
It is premature for me to review Hulu at this time. We have been DirecTV customers for 20 years and the service has become too expensive for seniors on a budget, so we decided to cut the cord and go with Hulu. Hulu (with live TV) seemed to fit the bill perfectly: with all the broadcast networks available, plus some original programming and movies, it looked ideal for the price. The problem was with our wi-fi, which is slow and unreliable, even with a recently purchased range extender, and resulted in tedious buffering and sometimes a total inability to connect. Because of where we live, it has been impossible for us to upgrade until now. Yesterday I received notice from an Internet provider that they have extended their service area to include our location and technicians will be here to install the service on Tuesday, Sept. 18. I will update this review after we have had an opportunity to view Hulu with the new wi-fi service. For now, my only negative comment about Hulu is that it is difficult to locate programs because of the way the categories are organized, which is often redundant and confusing.
Decent selection of things to watch, but the application is horrible. Constantly buffering, stalling, and restarting. Netflix and AmazonPrime work just fine, so I have to assume it's a Hulu issue. Junk.
