This dog food is undoubtedly a great price, but the benefits seem to end there. It caused my golden retriever to have soft excrement. The dog food also contains questionable ingredients including iron oxide which is a synthetic color additive as well as other artificial colorings. The food also contains menadione which is a controversial form of vitamin K linked to liver toxicity, allergies and the abnormal break-down of red blood cells. When we switched dog food brands, just two meals later, our golden retriever was having healthy bowl movements again.

I've only been using Rachel's dog food for about 2 months now. My dogs love Rachel's Nutrish dog food even the puppies I will continue to use Rachael Ray's Nutrish matter fact Rachael Ray's dog food so good my cats like it. Speaking of cats, I got these Vitapet Probiotic Powder Blend For Dogs and Cats with 5 Billion CFU Per Serving just to make sure they were not getting constipated from eating dog food. They are having regular stools and enjoy the taste of the probiotic.

I have a 7 month old Siberian Husky. She has been on Rachel Ray's Nutrish dry dog food since weaning. She has hit all of her growth and health markers right on time.
Her coat is thick, lush and shiny. Her bones and teeth are strong. She mental acuity extremely sharp.
I do Supplement her dry dog food with "Missing Link Canine Formula" I prefer the original, but please choose what is appropriate for your dogs' age and breed...Missing Link comes in several formula variations.
She loves Greenies and ROASTED not "SMoked" Pigs' ears....make certain whatever brand you purchase is raised and processed in the USA.
I also recommend purchasing soup bones, cooking them before giving to your dog. Roasting them keeps the bone more dense than boiling does, or cook in skillet. You want to cook any food still on the bone, but do not overcook the bone. Knuckle bones can be great, depending in your dogs' size. Depending on their chewing style (how much bone they ingest in one chewing session) If they have strong teeth and jaws only let them chew on their real bones for an hour the first day and each day following. /bones will make your dogs' stool dry and chalky so you do not want them to have too much bone in one day. Please make certain they are getting plenty of water...If using tap water, you can run a half gallon in a pitcher, let it sit for 12 hours uncovered and the additives they add to the water will dissipate...giving your pets fewer chemicals they are not meant to ingest.
I also give her a chew-able vitamin.
Most dog foods are not all inclusive in the minerals and vitamins your dog needs. Young dogs in particular have a chewing reflex, bones help keep their teeth strong and white.
My 13 year old dachshund never needed her teeth cleaned her entire life, from having her real bones to chew on.

My Husky did not like the formula with Salmon, too fishy smelling for her.
All the other Nutrish formulas we have tried have been good, with the formulas containing Venison or Buffalo being her favorites in the food varieties.

I will give it a solid 4 stars. We have been trying it for two months now and my five dogs (even the picky one) seem to enjoy it.
Their stools are normal. They had no problems at all switching brand and we have had no issues with digestion.
My only con - there has to be one at least :-) is that when I open the package to pour content into a container, well, the food is really greasy. I was a bit rebuked by it the first time and was expecting the worst from this food but it turned out to be a great choice, both for quality and price.
I will go on buying.

We buy many different premium brands of dry dog food.

This is one of the brands and flavors that our pup absolutely loves.

If we run out and don't buy one of his favorites, he gets very sad.

This blend gets eaten without him stopping or coming up for air until the bowl is empty.

I have also noticed that this brand is more easily digested and helps to ease his bowel movements.

A very happy doggeh loves this Beef and Brown Rice recipe

We have 3 Boston terriers and they love this food. It keeps their coat shiny and keeps them from having dry itchy skin. It is aslo very good for them. We have this set up on subscribe and save and we get a bag every other month. So convenient to have it shipped to the door. No wrestling with a big bag at the store! We love Rachel Ray and we love her dog food.

My dog is a very finicky eater. I've tried offering him many dry foods but he always just sniffs them then walks away, most of the food he's been offered were quite expensive, "gourmet" brands. He would eventually eat them if they were left for him long enough or if they were mixed with canned food.
When I offered him Rachael Ray Nutrish, he gobbled it up right away and then begged me to give him more.

We have been buying this food for years! When Rachael Ray came out with this food, we switched and our dogs all loved it and their coats improved. We have tried beef and chicken. The dogs seem to prefer the beef. This brand has not been on the recall lists as far as I know, which adds some comfort in knowing we are feeding quality food to our dogs!

I do not know what the issue is with this product. But my dogs have been horribly ill since I started feeding it to them just a couple of days ago. They’ve been throwing up, having massive gas and diarrhea. I also feel the kibbleFeels extremely light which leads me to believe there is a lot of air in the product perhaps leading to the gastric issues. It’s been quite the nightmare since I started feeding this to my dogs. I bought this because the other Rachel ray product was not available on Amazon anymore. Very upset and very distressed.

My bf and I adopted a pitbull from a friend's brother who was going to have to put him in a shelter. His previous owner was feeding him purina. He didn't seem to really like the purina we got him and his poops were super soft. After switching up his food a few times none of which he really liked I did some research on good nutrish, yummy, affordable dog food. I finally came upon Rachae Rays food. Everything I had read was good so I gave it a try. My dog loves it and his poops became normal. I feel good about giving this food to my dog knowing he is being properly nourished. Will buy again.
