Y'all. This cat litter. It's awesome. I was having issues with every litter we tried because it just STUNK. Even when it was fresh and just poured, the fragrance was absolutely horrendous. It just made cat poop smell poopier, if that's even possible. I'd gag every time I'd walk by. I took a chance and bought this, based on the other reviews and being "fragrance free". I am more than happy to say, it truly is. I can't even tell we have a cat. There's zero smell. Zero. Even when it needs to be cleaned. Zero. If that's what you're looking for, get this.

I love this litter. It clumps hard so after you scoop, the remaining litter is still clean. With other litters, the urine clumps will fall apart and you have tiny little urine clumps in the litter box, which is super gross. Dust is very low and it keeps that special "litter box" smell away (except when one of the cats decides to just poop and leave it uncovered for the world to admire, but that's not the litter's fault). It is a bit on the pricey side, but if you're the fastidious sort, it is worth every penny. I LOVE that I can get the 42 lb bags on Amazon delivered straight to my door instead of having to heave them into the cart at the pet store and drag them home, although, the UPS guy probably hates me.

I used to buy Pine pellets for the cats' litter boxes; we have two, but the brand I bought was discontinued. So, it was back to looking for a new litter. I was not overjoyed. The only thing I like less than having to review and try to pick out a good quality litter is, well, cleaning the litter. After the good reviews, I figured I'd giver Ever Clean a shot. I'm glad I did! Let's not pussyfoot around. This litter is worth every penny. Litter is not something you want to skimp on. It's need to clump and have minimal dust. Check and check. The dust isn't just an annoyance; it's unhealthy. So stop reading this review and purchase the litter already. It's purrrfect.

I chose this litter based on other recommendations on Amazon. I like the make-up of the litter, it is not too dusty, and it doesn't have a bad smell too it. Sometimes I think that the litter can smell worse than the cat waste. It scoops easily as well. I prefer to get the 42 pound box since I have 2 cats and go through litter somewhat quickly. The price did go up recently which was disappointing, as it is already an expensive litter.

I'll start off by saying I only have one cat, I scoop twice a day and I've tried: an assortment of arm and hammer litters, tidy cats, scoop free, yesterday's news, fresh step, and Dr. Elsey's precious cat. Ever Clean is by FAR the best litter of all of them in terms of dust, tracking, clumping and ODOR CONTROL!!! That last one is the main one- most of the other brands you get a fair amount of the other qualities but none effectively control odor at all, even the scented varieties. Nothing will ever make up for letting poop sit in a litter box for days (which is absolutely disgusting, but whatever) but when an entire house smells like cat poop and pee (I'm looking at you, Dr. Elsey!) just minutes after the cat relieves itself and covers it.... It's miserable for everyone. I can literally put my face just above the box and not smell anything. PERIOD. You are going to have a few granules here and there but not bad, there's a very tiny bit of dust- but not nearly as bad as others. I'll never buy another brand again! You can't go wrong with this litter, it's just that awesome.

WOW! this is the best cat litter I have ever used. I have recommended to other stinky cat owners wholeheartedly. When you can smell when your cat does his business from the other side of a huge house, you have a stinky cat. I have tried other brands that were more expensive per pound but none have been near as effective.

This is very expensive cat litter. I've tried Dr Elseys Precious Cat, Frisco Multiple Cat, Arm and Hammer Clump and Seal and World's Best Cat Litter (the worst!). Dr Elseys and Frisco were fine but not great. Not enough odor control for three cats. So I tried two more: Everclean and Arm and Hammer Super Scoop Clumping Unscented (I want my house to have no smell, not a fake cheap floral coverup smell). Two litter boxes, side by side. When I poured the litter out I had already decided the $8.99 A + H was going to be our litter and was wondering what moved me to spend $24 on cat litter. The cats had a different plan. Day after day they have chosen to use the Everclean. They seem to love the fine sand. So far it's doing a good job with odor control- absolutely no smell for a week with daily cleanings. Wish it were cheaper but my cats love it so it's five stars in my house.

It's very similar to the unscented Arm & Hammer we have been using. We still need to clean the litter everday to keep the smell down ... as I can't handle scented litter smells. What I really was looking for was "non-tracking" litter. No luck. I still have to sweep up the hall every day. Our "old guy" just needs to use the litter more than your average cat. No problems with him adapting to the new brand. But the 42 pound bag is very heavy -- to heavy for me to order again.

This is a very good litter. It clumps well, it does not create a lot of dust. Most importantly the cats use it. For me, though, there is too much perfume, and if it irritates my nose it probably irritates my cats' noses.

Very little dust, and odor isn't bad, as long as it is scooped daily. Would give it 5 stars, but the cost is a bit high when you compare to other quality litters of the same caliber. I am not sure if I can mention other products in a review or not.. but there is another littler that sells for 20$ per 40 lbs that does just as well as this does.
