These blades had different colored plastic parts than the Mach3 I bought in the store. Hmmm, I thought. Maybe they changed their look. I don't know if these are the real blades or not or a knock off, however immediately I noticed that they did not shave as well and were not as smooth. I changed blades back to the ones bought at Costco (original color), and it was back to beautiful smooth shave. My wife also independently said "gee, these don't shave as well" before I could comment to her.
I have read about people believing their blades were fake. I did not put much stock in them, and thought that by buying from Amazon and not another vendor on Amazon that I would get the best blades. Well, either these are fake or their quality really slipped.

These are horrible. I don't know if we got a counterfeit product but what we received are the worst. Not anything like the Mach3 razors we've used before. And I've been using them over 25 years. It's like using a worn out razor when we actually are starting with a fresh one. Painful.

I have been using these razors for 15 years and have been buying them on Amazon since 2009. The manufacturer changed the design recently and the new design is horrible—it is now impossible to get a close shave. The obvious visual differences between the old and new cartridges are that the metal band on the new cartridges does not wrap around the entire height of the cartridge, and the new cartridge has three strips of plastic on the back instead of one (which also makes it clog more easily).

Edit: I received a second order of cartridges with the same bad shave quality, so I’ve reduced this review from two stars to one star. These new blades are awful, giving the same result as an old Dorco/Dollar Shave Club blade. I am looking to other manufacturers now to try to find something that works anywhere close to the old Mach3 design.

The first time I ordered these, they were fine. The second order of blades were so dull - tried two each from two of the three five pack bundles - that we had to throw them away. Don't know if these were seconds or factory mess ups, but they were really bad.

The 15 blade the package I got was grey market but definitely not counterfeit. It was intended for distribution in Spanish speaking countries and has a lot of text in Spanish. Gillette has a page with detailed instructions on how to distinguish counterfeit blades from genuine Gillette blades. The blades I received show absolutely no signs of the common counterfeit features such as a plastic strip in place of the ablative soap/lubricant strip, misaligned the blades etc. I am certain the blades I got from Amazon are genuine and they shave identically to ones previously purchased in US drugstores.

These don't seem to be recent product, meaning they appear to have been in storage for years (in Europe, probably because the labeling is in three languages). The blades are definitely not as razor sharp as the ones I buy here locally. The price is good and they came fast, but the product is below par compared to fresh ones. You'll notice the difference that first shave.

I've been buying these at CVS for many years and gotten a pain-free shave. These do not have the lubricant strip and they hurt. For whatever reason, it is not possible to buy quality Mach 3 razor blades on Amazon. This was my second attempt, and I'm done.

Pure crap! Its almost as bad as BIC blades. It does a bad job, spend a little extra and get the Gillette Fusion blades.

Absolutely the worst set of blades I have ever purchased. They look like they have already been used. Amazon must have purchased factory defective blades, or blades that did not pass quality control. Do NOT buy!!

I didn’t Believe it. I think these blades are factory seconds. They last about one week. Will not buy any more online from now on I’ll go to the store. I get two shaves out of these. I get a month out of blades from the store.
