I have an old Nikon D50. It is hard to find SD cards that are not HD or some other acronym tacked on. My camera will only work with SD and no other letters. Grateful to find these. They both work well!

6/10/17. It appears that I have received a full refund for this purchase. Thank you Amazon for continuing to be an awesome company.......... When we inserted this card IT WAS FULL of ASIAN unknown INFO!!!!!! Then, when I did a NORTON root scan it identified a problem with the pics I downloaded from this card...... DO NOT BUY THIS!!!!!! 6 days have gone by, I am busy and only now found all this info out about this card and I am NOT ALLOWED TO RETURN IT.... I did send an email letting whoever know I AM NOT HAPPY AT ALL.

The new 2G SD memory cards work well in my older Kodak Z740 camera and I am glad to find a source of this style SD card. The High Capacity SD cards will not work in my older camera, and I am glad to find these still available. I will have to take some pictures to see how fast they download, but overall I am happy with this purchase. In the past I purchased several 2G SD cards on line and half of them were 4G even though advertised as 2G. Checking the case markings with a 10X loupe confirmed that some of them were really 4G SD cards that would not work in my older camera. I will save them for future use when I get a camera that can handle the larger 4G storage capacity, but I am glad to get real 2G SD cards that work for me. .

What can I say? For people with old cameras, these memory cards are a life-saver. My Canon camera is ten years old, and thanks to Amazon and Transcend, I can still get memory cards for it. The camera I am using is the Powershot A620, and this memory card works fine with it.

I won't use these new cards for a few weeks, but can say that I reordered these because the last 2 cards of this type I bought worked so well! I was nervous to try them because they were so much less expensive than the ones I had previously used, but I had no problems with either of the memory cards in my last order. Hopefully it will be the same with these! I'm really pleased to have found a brand that works well and is substantially less expensive. I go through many of these taking product photos for my business and like to keep the photos on the cards as another form of backup. Many thanks! --Sharyl

Needed some older non SDHC to use in my vehicles audio system. These fit the bill. The shipping was fast and the cards worked as expected!

Since I couldn't find these 2GB cards locally this is the place to go.East Coast Photo's excellent service & fast delivery was very impressive. My old Nikon D50 is very happy and the memory card has performed flawlessly with many great shots already. Will have to stock up and get some more since these are hard to find. With correct setting will hold over 2k images and still be sharp. The Nikon will not work with higher memory cards, sold in stores now. These will be the ones to get. They work great.

Plug and play, no connectivity or formatting issues. Works well with Canon Powershot cameras. Getting harder to find in this older SD format (most cards now are SDHC and are not interchangeable). No issues with speed, transferring files, or reformatting (quick and deep formatting both OK). Weatherbug

It is so hard to find NON- HC (high capacity) SD cards these days. My Nikon D50 DLSR can not read SDHC cards, and needs regular SD cards. The upper limit of size for regular SD cards seems to be 2GB, as these are. My camera reads and writes these cards just fine.

If you have an older device that can't use the SDHC format, these may work for you; they certainly work for me. I'm stocking up for when I can't get these any more (I sense that will be sooner than later).

I'm a little confused because when I ordered this, I do not remember either the photo or description indicating that these were Transcend cards. You see, ALL of the cards I have that do not work are Transcend (with the exception of one Lexar). I would not have knowingly ordered a card by this manufacturer based on past experience (and I have a LOT of past experience with SD and CF cards). I can only hope that their quality has improved since my last purchase.
