I use this magazine at least once a week. The recipes have pictures which helps me get an idea of what it is supposed to look like. I also enjoy making the recipes that my favorite chef's use. I really like when the issue focuses on one particular item.
I like the table of contents at the beginning where it shows you pics of all the recipes they've included in the current issue. I love the buying suggestions of all the latest and greatest cooking gear and utensils! Best of all they keep it simple and don't put a bunch of "Bourdainesque" schmucky commentary about food and what food should be. Thanks Food Network Magazine for leaving out the overbearing gourmet critique out of the picture. Simple enough suggestions and recipes for anyone. They know their fan base and keep things tailored perfectly to the people that view their network. Good stuff!
