The original car key battery for my BMW528Xi lasted for over 5 years that required replacement! I found a good deal of Energizer 2450 batteries at Amazon. It has date of 03-2026 that I assumed it expiration date. I measured both batteries good, 2.82-2.84V, slightly lower than 3V. My old Sony were about 2V. Both new batteries are working well with my car. I am happy with my purchase. The delivery was later than promised but I don’t mind.
Neither of the batteries worked in my Minn Kota remote. I compared them to the old battery that was also an energizer purchased at a store and there are differences. The old battery has enough juice to run the remote for a minute but the new ones won't even turn it on/ The heights are slightly different heights and this battery had a rougher texture on the bottom. The battery on the left is this one and the one on the right is the old one. I would recommend ordering from another source. I needed the remote this weekend so know I have to drive an hour round trip to get one.
A ridiculous 15 days for delivery (no mention of this when ordering) so I Kong since bought the battery sonewhere else and these are not returnable. and shipped two tiny batteries in a box measuring 14x8x7 - big enough to hold a pair of Lebron’s shoes.
I bought these to replace the factory-installed batteries in my car-key fob since the car (BMW) was complaining that the battery in the remote control was low. I actually exchanged the battery from the fob I use all the time with the one that never gets used, and the car still said it was low. I guess those thing just lose juice over time.
I put these newly purchased batteries in, and the car was happy. I'm happy since the price was so low (includes shipping and no sales tax), and it was delivered to my mail box via the USPS within a very reasonable amount of time.
I don’t know if I just got old batteries or what. We have 3 sensors in our home that take these batteries and all have lasted a long time except one. One that is used less than the others. I got this pack and both batteries have needed to be changed within a week. Ridiculous.
I bought these batteries to replace the ones in my BMW key fobs. They are the correct battery, however, when I popped them in they are completely dead. Also, there is NO expiration date to be found on the packaging whatsoever. Note, that you cannot return batteries in the mail, so if you get duds like I did you won’t get your money back.
