I was looking forward to this summary of what I heard was a sensational book. The most important thing that I read was that the reason for my suffering was the pattern of my thoughts. Acquiring this knowledge is the first step towards a cessation of further suffering. It was a wonderful experience. Meditation at its very core is merely the observation of one's mind. I would highly encourage you to take up meditation if you want to understand the reality of your mind better. It is really great book.
I think that's the perfect guidebook for all. In this book has included many essential ideas about Summary. I prefer this guidebook. Well written by the Author. Creator did an excellent job for everyone. Great content forever. I also learn more ideas about Summary 21 lessons for the 21st Century. Prescribed!
Each lesson is thought-provoking, and I bookmarked lessons that resonated with me. Highlights for me: “Know yourself well to make sense of your world and to best deal with change.” Learn all you can about what you are passionate about to combat the untruths in this world...because knowledge is power.” I took off one star because I wanted a bit more for a summary but I suppose that is a clue to get the full book!
I got a lot out of this book. I do understand the criticisms that Harari can be unfocused in this list of lessons, or rather questions without clear answers (but what's wrong with that?), and it is not quite the must-read that was Sapiens and even Homo Deus. If only there was a way to make everyone in the world read Harari and have some real perspective about all that is going on. Seriously, those with power may be just the kinds to not to seek truth--as is expertly explained within--but it sure would be nice if they did read more. Thinking more deeply about the right questions could lead to some better answers!
This is so great book and I so love on how it was written. Too simple however it gives us a great understanding. This book causes me to profoundly make a few information investigation effectively. This is absolutely the best one.
It is the author's magnum opus, the best attempt to date to make sense of life in the digital age. If most people around the world read and tried to really understand this book, the world would surely be a much better place...
