A down-to-earth practical book
September 18, 2018
This is a "thinking" book. I mean, you finish reading each chapter & then sit back & stare into the distance & think hard about your own life. It's not a book that should be rushed through.
You think about the pain points in your own life & how they are hindering your progress. Just pinpointing them is good enough. But then Scott takes you through the next step - which is how to not let them consume you & move past them. Otherwise, your creative energy will be hindered. He then takes you some good time management techniques. However, my favourite section is on mentoring - because that's exactly where I am in my life right now. When you get to understand that it's not just about you but about how many other people you help to succeed, that counts. Scott walks the reader through the steps that can make you a better mentor.
Then I downloaded the freebie that's included in the book - a toolkit to help you improve your own life; getting over rejection; improving self-esteem and confidence.
