I gave this book to a dear friend whose teens want to eat out all the time or just order in pizza and she says they are now cooking away and eating much more heathily. She added they are saving a lot of money, too. Who knows, maybe there is another Chopped champion who will be inspired by the recipes and awesome ideas in this book!
The Cookbooks were for my Grandaughter. There is nothing that she likes to talk about is cooking. At twelve years old, she is cooking alongside her Mom and Dad. I was so pleased to find such great books for a budding chef!
This cookbook is great for teens (or even pre-teens like my daughter) to use to make their own healthy recipes. The recipes in this book are creative and unique in addition to being healthy which allows for a great culinary experience while also keeping the calories low. I find it very important to establish healthy eating habits at a young age and these recipes are a guide to do just that. The recipes are easy to follow and delicious.
