I love running, both personally as a runner and I also follow it closely as a sport. I guess it's relevant that I have read Born to Run and am not a huge fan, though parts of it are good. Overall it's a bit hokey and the barefoot running thing is silly. And I find the worship of the Tarahumara a bit silly. BUT, that said, I love watching movies with people running, and I was very curious to see more about Micah True.
I really couldn't pay much attention to this documentary because it was so boring. There was not much running footage but a lot of footage of people talking. The flow of the movie was a bit disjointed as well; I wasn't really sure where they were going with it, if anywhere. I have to admit that my electricity went out when I was 3/4 through the movie and I didn't care and didn't start it back up when the power came back on.
I wouldn't recommend this movie to anybody. I gave it 2 stars because it wasn't actually horrible, just very boring (i.e. the actual cinematography was fine, and there were maybe a few interviews in there worth seeing).
