Ashley Butler did not have an easy life growing up. That made her into the person she is today. Knows what she wants and will sacrifice everything to get there. Maxwell Bishop was brought up in money. He knows the value of money and its buying power. Into the Clipper he and Gerald went one day and the rest is history. She told him her dream and he offered to go over her business plan. He was so impressed seeing she never went to college. There lifestyles kept getting in the way. She poor and he is well off. She never knew who to stop the comparisons till she drove him away. It isn't until your words are thrown back at you by an employee, that she knew she had to change. She loved Max and missed him. Trust Max to have the perfect ending.
I absolutely could not put this book down. Ashley's character is so captivating! And the sex ... hot!!!! This book is a total sexy Cinderella story with a captivating twist. I don't want to give away any secrets, but let me just tell you, Sophia knows how to make a reader's heart race. If you need an escape from reality and a journey into the world of captivating romance, let Ashley's story take you away for a few days. I love all of the Fairview books, but this one is by far my favorite.
And to give you a quick rundown, this book tells the story of bartender Ashley who has always had a dream of having a better life. A self-made woman, she grew up in a tough world (she lost both her mother and her father). However, she refused to let her past dictate her future. Let's just say she's a savvy investor with a future more amazing and romance- filled than she could have ever imagined. (Gahhhh... I want to tell you more but I can't because it will spoil all of the surprises.)
Five stars times 10!!!! Thank you, Sophia, for the page turner!!!!
A steamy opposites attract love story set in a small town. Definitely an interesting plot with fun twists and good character development. A rags to riches story. There were moments when I felt the author stood back and told me what the characters were thinking and feeling instead of showing me their thoughts and feelings through the story telling, but when the characters are interacting their feelings and thoughts became more alive. I recommend this book if you're into contemporary romance, and I expect to read more of this author's stories.
Really enjoyed this book! Great story line with intense characters made it hard to put down. A strong, determined woman's dreams come true with hard work and sacrifice. Add a handsome supportive man and you have a happily ever after. Highly recommend you read this book.

When developer wealthy Maxwell comes to town she knows she has to go ahead with her plans before she looses the opportunity. Maxwell and Ashley are attracted but they come from totally opposite worlds. Can they overcome their differences. I enjoyed reading this book. Most of the characters were likable, particularly Ashley and Maxwell. Thank you to the author for an advanced readers copy.
