An Irish Affair This Irishman is something spectacular. In parts this story is poignant, at times sweet, sometimes even bittersweet, often sad, but Devin always shines. He is a rascal, but you cannot help but love him. Serena tried her best but failed. I recommend An Irish Affair by Ajme Williams.
So Wrong Has all the feels - long time crush, lust, romance, ex causing problems, fake marriage, true love, and lots of misunderstandings Tessa and Dylan assumed things, not in evidence. Really loved reading this book. It is very emotional. I highly recommend So Wrong by Ajme Williams. It is a winner.
Imperfect Love Terra and Brayden went through a lot trying to get their imperfect love to change not to perfect but somewhere close, A touching romance that made me cry in a few places. They worked hard to get as close as two people could be, deeply in love and trying for more. There is a happy ending as romances should have. Highly recommend this book, Imperfect Love by Ajme Williams.
Our Last Chance Our Last Chance by Ajme Willims is an absolute must-read, This book is an exceptional reading experience. It grabbed my heart and ran with it. Mia and Nick were in love but circumstances forced them apart. They get a second chance to prove their love can withstand the challenges that come their way.
OUR LAST CHANCE: Steamy second chance romance between former small-town lovers, Mia and Nick. What does Eli, Mia’s brother do to this relationship? Very realistic of what small-town life where everybody knows everybody and their business. AN IRISH AFFAIR: One wonderful night, one huge secret to keep, poignant and steamy second chance. A serendipitous meeting between Serena and Devlin, a glorious week together. What goes wrong? What happens when they meet again in five years? Will secrets set them free? SO WRONG: Fake marriage story of a single father and his babysitter. Dylan’s 29yo and Tessa’s now 23yo but world’s apart in life experiences. What happens when his Ex wants back into her daughter’s life after abandoning them? IMPERFECT LOVE: Wife, Terra only has time for her children. Husband, Braydon works too much. Will a medical crisis break the tenuous hold they have on their marriage? This is a beautiful and touching exploration of a marriage dying of “everydayness” until something even worse happens. Get your tissues! I volunteered to review this book for the author and it comes highly recommended. I give this bundle a steamy 4.5 stars! (Each book was reviewed by me when they first came out.)
Four stories about finding love when it really didn’t seem possible or when the odds of it being reciprocated were just a little bit above nil. The characters are of course thoroughly delightful, and you’ll find yourself routing for them to overcome the self-imposed and/or the exterior forces that block the path. Each story is entirely different with interesting plots that will keep you enthralled. (I’m anxiously awaiting more wonderful books by this author!) I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and purchased a copy. I am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is a amazing box set. I loved each story very much and so happy I can now read them all without stopping. No spoilers. This is one of my all time favorite reads of 2020. I wasn’t disappointed. Have some tissues on hand though.

Each book had some difficult things to over come. Each couple had to learn to trust all over again. Book 4 was so heartbreaking but with help they learned to get back to the way they were before the cancer showed. Well done to the author. Will definitely purchase book 5 and 6 in the series.
The Heart of Hope box set includes the first four books in the series. There was also an excerpt from the fifth book, Eight Long Years, which only whet my appetite for more. All the books had some steaminess to them but it added to the story. All were second chance romances but under different circumstances and set in different locations. My emotions were engaged throughout as I cried, laughed and even got angry at some of the character's actions and attitudes. The lack of communication along with the stress of jobs, careers, other pressures, family and friends played a part in all the stories. The books all had nice closure after many twists and turns along with their happily ever after. Ms. Williams is an author whose books I've enjoyed and I keep coming back for more. I enjoyed all the books and below is a brief review of each one.
Our Last Chance had a lot of angst in it from Nick, his ex-best friend, Eli, Eli's sister and Nick's love that got away, Mia as well as Eli and Mia's dad, Jim, who had Parkinson's disease. Jim was a voice of reason to all of them and always had them thinking. He always seemed spot on with his observations whether they wanted to hear them or not. He always has a positive outlook even if things aren't always perfect. Nick and Mia reconnect but not under the best of circumstances since it's at their job with a no fraternization policy. But will it stop them or will something else? There were so many story lines going on and a lot of anger and attitude that sometimes created a darkness Mia always seemed to be torn between her job, Nick and her family. Will she ever put herself and what she wants first? The story had high points and low points but all added to the richness of the story. I loved how the story plays out and the epilogue that takes place six weeks after the story ends. The happily ever after was nicely done.
An Irish Affair was probably my favorite story. I liked the characters of Serena, Devin and her son, Andrew. Throughout there were a lot of Irish words, foods, celebrations and especially Devin's family's business, the Roarke empire, along with Serena's job as an event planner. The story is set in New York City and the Hamptons and Serena and Devin have an instant attraction when they meet on St. Patrick's Day and she invites him to meet her and her friends on the pub crawl. From there things heat up until real life gets in the way, or does it? I liked the flow of the story but not his mother. When they reconnect five year's later will they pick up where they left off or will life and family once again get in the way? The epilogue that takes place five months after the story ended left me wanting more.
So Wrong has Dylan, his daughter, Maisie and her babysitter, Tessa, front and center. Tessa was like a part of their family though she really wasn't even if she sometimes stayed to have dinner with them. If fantasies could come true, would they? Dylan's ex-wife was a piece of work and I had no use for her. Her actions were selfish and centered around only herself and what she wanted. The story was sometimes choppy due to the misunderstandings between Dylan and Tessa but Tessa always had Dylan and Maisie's best interest at heart. Could Dylan say the same about his words and actions? The ending was sweet and the epilogue which takes place one year later was depicted nicely. I loved the way the happily ever after played out.
Imperfect Love was one of my favorite stories. I loved Tarra, Brayden and their two children but the lack of communication between them was a serious issue. When one was ready to talk, the other wasn't and vice versa. Of course all that lack of communication had them making up their own scenarios of what was really going on. The family outings and dinners were great when they happened but always seemed to be overshadowed by everyday life, memories, illness and business. I loved the pace of the story and the attraction that showed up between Tarra and Brayden at unexpected times. The epilogue was the icing on the cake.

The Heart of Hope Box Set is a compilation of 4 books.
OUR LAST CHANCE Second chances are hard to come by for some. Nick and Mia had many obstacles in their way the first time around. Now that they are a little older, life throws them some serious curve balls. He was her brother’s best friend. She was the one who pursued him.
I stayed up way later than I intended to finish reading, not something I’d do for most books. I laughed. I cried. i wanted to shake some sense into both Mia and Nick at different points. I wanted to smack Eli a couple of times, too.
AN IRISH AFFAIR Serena and Devin met one St. Patrick’s Day. She was finishing college and he was on his way to Europe to work in his family’s business. That chance meeting changed the rest of her life forever. Fast forward five years, when Serena and Devin meet again.
Her secrets just about tear them apart. But, given her past interactions with Devin’s mother I don’t blame her one bit for not being up front with him from the get go. Her armor needed to be that strong. Devin’s reactions are justifiable. After all, he knew nothing about his mother’s meddling.
I loved these characters! Their relationship shouldn’t have worked given the secrets, familial meddling, and past mistakes but it did. I shed a few tears so there’s that... automatic five stars.
SO WRONG When I first began reading this story, I loved how great a father Dylan was to Maisie and how he put her first above all else. Tessa was also likable with her nurturing personality. They are attracted to one another, but Dylan has many scars from letting people in to his heart. The threat of losing custody of Maisie has Dylan and Tessa embarking in a fake marriage. As the story progressed, I hated how Dylan treated Tessa and how she took it and kept going back for more. But as I thought about his history as a child and then as a spouse, it was evident that emotional scars run deep, so much deeper than physical ones. Tessa being the nurturing, caring person, let him, but was so glad when she came to the point of putting her heart first. These two do get their HEA, but not before they both come to terms with the obstacles they each have to overcome. Thank goodness too, because I would have hated that my tears were for naught.
IMPERFECT LOVE I have enjoyed reading Ajme’s books and always look forward to the next one. Braydon and Terra’s story did not disappoint. It was so heartbreaking and heartwarming. I had a few moments of being ultra frustrated with both of them, but like all things, patience is a virtue that I learn even while reading. At times I thought their relationship would not survive the many curveballs being thrown their way. Their individual pasts contributed largely to how they reacted and acted in the story. It took self-discovery and some rude awakenings on both their parts, but they persevered. There may have been a moment when I thought heartache would be added to all the emotions I was feeling, but Braydon and Terra had their happy ending plus a happy surprise added to the mix.

A collection of four beautiful stories that will take you on an emotional journey of trials, tribulations, heartbreak, drama, anger, misunderstandings, forgiveness and passion all in the search for love, happiness and family.
Our Last Chance
Nick Foster and Mia Parker have a history that was intense, passionate, loving yet imploded mostly because her brother Eli who was also Nick's bestfriend walked in on them and let it be known he wasn't okay with what was going on between them. So what could of been forever turned out to be forty-eight hours and then separate lives after graduation. She moved to the big city as a new attorney and he headed back home to work in the ER as a doctor. Life continued that way until her father needed her and an opportunity for an attorney opened up in the hospital Nick works for. Now they find each other face to face. Will old feeling come back ,will family and time stand in the way or will work once again dictate their fate? I enjoyed this story but I felt it left a few unanswered questions and the blurb was misleading concerning the pregnancy. It was as if it was left out and just added in the last page or two of the book.
Four 🏨 ⭐⭐⭐⭐
An Irish Affair
Devin Roarke met Serena Moore when she was serving him and his friend lunch while at a diner. He rich good looking and bored with the same ole party scene that his friend wants to attend. He wants something real not plastic and fake so he turns to the waitress and asks what she plans on doing later. Since it's St. Patrick's Day she and her friends are doing the pub crawl. He was intrigued but his friend wasn't yet he didn't care he told her he would meet her at the first bar. She never thought he would actually show up because she wasn't rich, beautiful or thin. Bar after bar time flew by they talked, laughed and spilled stories she even revealed she was a virgin after a little too much whiskey. Let's just say that didn't last long and they spent many wonderful days together. Then everything fell apart as self-doubt, unworthiness set in with the help of a selfish conniving ,callous, pompous self-centered deceitful woman who came to visit her. Unfortunately years have passed since those fateful days and now she has come face to face with her first love now she has a decision that must be made. Will she be able to come clean before it's too late? Will everything she loves be taken away from her? Will the evil conniving coldhearted biotch get her way? So many twist, turns drama to be found in this story but within you find the true love of a mother for her child and what she is willing to risk to ensure he's happy, safe and loved even at the sacrifice of her own heart. Absolutely loved this storyline and the characters well most of them lol. You will understand fully once you have a chance to read. I don't want to give to much away because whew 🤦♀️ I've read about some cray cray callous people in books before but Dauumm!!!! It has drama, heartache, anger, passion, humor, understanding, patience, forgiveness and above all else love. ☘🥃📖🛩🍺🍲❤🤰
Dylan Hyatt is the owner of very successful chain of gyms and real estate investments. He is a divorced single father to a beautiful five year old daughter named Maisie. She is his whole world since her mother walked out of her life. Tessa Bremer is a twenty-three year old student teacher working towards getting her masters in teaching. She lives next door to Dylan and Maisie. She teaches in Maisie kindergarten classroom and is her babysitter as well. She has formed quite a crush on Dylan in the ten months she has been watching his daughter and truly loves his daughter. So when they are left alone she goes all out and proposition him to take her virginity. Only problem things gets weird after and their friendship becomes awkward. Then his ex-wife gets married and sues him for full custody. He will do anything to keep and protect his daughter even ask Tessa to marry him if it helps his custody case. She agrees to the "fake marriage" plans because she deep down would love to really have a family with them. What she didn't count on was a baby, divorce papers, and a shattered heart. I must say I loved how loving and devoted Dylan was to his daughter. I absolutely hated the way he treated Tessa the yo-yoing with her feelings the mixed messages. Then what he did when he found out about the baby UNBELIEVABLE!!!! It's a good thing she is so forgiving. I have to say kudos to the lawyer because he said what I wanted to say except I would of said even more. So Wrong will stir up array of emotions as you navigate through the complicated journey of Tessa and Dylan as they find love, family and happiness.
What an emotionally heartbreaking yet beautiful rollercoaster ride. I was in tears in more than one part of this book. Breydon and Terra were instantly drawn to each other from the moment he started at the company she worked for and where she was his boss. They risked everything to be together even going against company policy. Finally he set off to start his own company and asked her to come with him. Eventually she joined him and they built a extremely powerful successful tech company. When she becomes a mother she chooses to be a stay at home mom. Eventually their once hot romantic marriage becomes less and less. Kids, house errands and weight gain are her life whereas work and even more late nights at the office are his life. Resentment, lack of communication and feeling unwanted has caused major problems in their relationship. Then she discovers something that will devastate her whole world. I heart hurt for both of them at different times in the book. They also both drove me crazy at times as well. Their journey through the trials and tribulations was tuff and heartbreaking yet beautiful once they came through to the other side.
Five heartbreakingly beautiful ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

You don't expect to encounter all that goes on in these books when you first see them. Mia and Nick are the first couple. After years of being out of town, Mia returns to help her sick father and can't believe it when she has to work at the same hospital as Nick. Things between Nick and Mia have always been secretive because Nick is best friends with Mia's brother Eli. While Nick was in med school and Mia was in law school away from everyone they embarked on a relationship. After Mia left Nick they didn't see each other. Things begin to get complicated once they see each other again. Will they survive this time? Is Eli going to approve of the relationship? Next are Devin and Serena. This story is sweet and steamy. Devin is the heir of a fortune while Seena is going to school to become an event- planner. Once they meet sparks go off and after one night together they can't keep to themselves. After years of been away on business, Devin is back and wants to know why Serena left him high and dry. Serena can't believe that Devin is trying to be back in her life and he doesn't know about her secret. Will Devin leave Serena for good after learning what she has kept from him? Are his parents going to approve? Dylan and Tessa are from the third book. Dylan has had to raise his daughter after his ex-wife decided she didn't want to be a mom yet. While he's at work one of the girls that live next door babysits his daughter. When Dylan's ex comes back into the picture seeking full custody of their daughter he comes up with the plan to marry Tessa the babysitter. Things get complicated from the start and they can't go back to friendship. Tessa has had a crush on Dylan from the moment she saw him, but every time that they take a step forward three are taken back. What is going to happen with Dylan and Tessa? Is Dylan's ex going to win? The last couple is Terra and Braydon their story is incredibly realistic. After years of marriage, they begin to go their separate ways. Terra can't take Braydon being gone so much for work anymore. Braydon is shocked by how far apart he and Terra have become. When he finds out that she has even talked to a lawyer about divorce he can't take it anymore and decides to take action to save his marriage. Everything seems to be going well when things get extremely difficult. How are Terra and Braydon going to make this work? Are they too far gone to be fixed? These 4 stories are incredible and you'll be sitting on the edge of your seat the entire time you're reading. I received a free copy of this boxset from the author and reviewed it voluntarily.
Our Last Chance- This story is packed with interesting characters and twists that form the back stoty. Mia is a strong woman who learns a lot about herself during the story. Nick is sensitive, upstanding, and kind character. Threy were childhood friends who became lovers in college. This second chance romance gives an in-depth history of them individually, their family's dynamics, and their feelings for each other. The complexities of all the relationships felt real including angst, hurt and resolutions. The twists and turns in this story kept me reading. This book is a good read, enjoy!! So Wrong- This story has numerous occasions when Tessa demonstrates a loving nature. She is an aspiring teacher who babysits her neighbor's daughter. Dylan is a single father who is devoted to his daughter Maisie. The story delves into the issues they go through to see to their HEA. Tessa and Dylan have multifaceted personalities that enhances their believability. My favorite character is Maisie she is a cute five-year old who says what she thinks. An Irish Affair- Devin and Serena are an unexpected pair. This book tackles social classicism. The biased each have are exposed along with their misconceptions. Sometimes words ard not enough. Devin thinks he is being considerate but that is not how it appears to Serena. She has some valid reasons for some of the decisions she made. The strength of this book is now they finally listen to each other and put outside opinions where they belong, outside. I enjoyed the push and pull between them especially when the rubber band broke. This book is a Very good read, enjoy. Imperfect Love - This s story immersed me in sadness, hope, joy, and contentment all in a good way. Terra and Braydon let life get in the way of their marriage. Honest communication was easy them finding the way back to each other with some counseling on Braydon's part. Each one has issues from their childhoods that had not been shared or dealt with until they were faced with a devastating health issue for Terra. Their heart-wrenching journey is a must read. I received this book collection free as an ARC from the author for an honest voluntary review
