This is a nice coffee color wallet with a strap that you can carry on your wrist. It has lots of room for credit cards, few places for your ID, your bills, coins and for your phone. Once I put some of this inside, the wallet was already feeling pretty full without filling it up completely. It has two buttons for closure so there is a choice of which one to use. I like the detail of the flower on the front. This is a nice quality wallet at a decent price.
My wallet was starting to fray around the edges so I got this new one. It appealed to me with how many pockets it has available for my cards. It even includes a coin purse and 4 different places to put cash and coupons. I really like the grey color and the yellow color looked really nice too. It is well made and fits a lot of cards, IDs and more! Now I can keep everything easily organized.
I had to splurge and buy myself a new wallet... one that actually holds everything! I like ALLLLL the card slots. You can’t fill them all with thick cards but I use one whole section for my family’s insurance cards so I’m not digging around when I have to pull them out at appointments. This wallet also has some great punch-out detailing that I think makes it look unique. I ordered the dark red color because it will go with a brown OR black bag- eliminating the need to swap out the wallet if I swap out the handbag. I was really pleased with the color.
This is so beautiful & functional! I'm so pleased! The leather feels really lovely, the cut out deign & metal closure are beautiful. There are 3 zippered compartments (including a BRILLIANT tiny section within one of the sections for change, toothpicks, tablets...) & plenty of storage slots. I'm buying a few more as gifts!!
I purchased this Dante Wallet in the color black. It is a well made wallet...the leather is glossy and thick. The zippers and snaps are fully functional. The seaming is neat and tight and the lining intact. It holds quite a bit but does not have enough room for a checkbook and holder...probably because the coin holder is located in the inside of the wallet and not on the outside. It fits all my credit cards, paper bills, coins and receipts. It has lots of pockets to put miscellaneous things in. It's an attractive, well made wallet and functional as well. Highly recommend!
My last wallet the buckle went over the entire wallet and I always had way too much crap in it and it never snapped shut. This wallet, the change zipper is on the outside of the buckle. I won’t have the problem of it never shutting anymore. The buckle only shuts to keep the cards in. The zipper holds the change. This is a much better design than my previous wallet and less expensive! I still have money to put in it after I purchased haha
Smells like real leather - doesn't feel as big as I thought it might (which is good), fits nicely in my hand. The leather isn't as thick as my old wallet but there are a lot more layers of leather without the bulk. It has plenty of pockets for my needs. I like the color, although it's not the purple I expected from the picture - more like a deep burgundy (seen in pic). The feel is not waxy at all, just smooth and soft.
The zipper section is nice and roomy. I can easily fit a check and a dozen or more wallet-size photos in one, and my US bills PLUS my phone in the other pocket. Space for the phone is a huge feature when I don't feel like carrying my entire purse into the grocery store, etc. The small zipper section is perfect for a modest amount of change. Even with all of that in it, the zip section closed easily.
Some of the features in the flap section were the reason I didn't give five stars. First, I filled only 10 of the 18 card slots with credit/store cards, plus the driver's license slot. If I wanted to stretch the flap and maybe rip the first snap, I could close it. But using the second snap seemed more prudent. I can't imagine filling all 18 slots and still closing it.
In the two horizontal sections for cards (6 slots each) - only count on using 4 slots in each section. The front-most slots are a) tight side-to-side, I think partly because they are rounded at the outside corners, and b) not deep enough for a standard credit card. So it overlaps the middle slot above it, making it difficult to get a card out of that middle slot. (See pic - the red card in behind the yellow card is in that middle slot.)
One concern that will remain to be seen over time is how well the flap section stays closed, especially as it gets jostled around in my purse.
Overall, I'm satisfied. Well worth the price! (I paid $30).
Bought this as a Christmas gift, but have kept it for myself. The extra protection this wallet provides makes me feel more secure when out and about. The thought of somebody getting my personal information is terrifying. A rose colored wallet with a built in protection, what could be better? More cash perhaps, but I'm working on that. I'll be buying several as gifts. Did I mention it's beautiful?
My wife can be quite difficult when it comes to wallet/purses, so this one took quite a lot of research. I had to work through all of those reviews from people who got their wallets for free and narrowed that list down to half a dozen contenders. This one ended up top of the list and for good reason.
The wallet itself is a beautiful caramel-brown colour (pretty much exactly as shown in the description) and is both substantial and well-made. It feels high quality, and is definitely worth the money paid. There's plenty of storage for cards, coins and paper money without stretching the wallet out or make it too bulky, although at almost 8" wide, 1 1/2" deep and about 3 1/2" top to bottom (closed measurements) it may be a little too big for some.
There's been very slight wearing of the edges thanks to this jostling for position in my wife's pocketbook, but she loves it. And if she's happy, I'm happy.
I'd absolutely buy this again when the current one finally wears out - if my wife doesn't beat me to it first and order it for herself.
Love the wallet. Holds all the cards I need and I like the center change section that zips to hold your loose coins. Plus, it's wide & long enough to hold my Galaxy 7s Edge if I need to carry it in. I love the fact that it's also RFID - a big plus when traveling nowadays. Yea, it does has somewhat of a river smell, but I guess it may be in the treatment of the leather. Reminds me of the days when we used to go canoeing. Don't let that stop you from buying this quality wallet, though, as the smell gradually fades with use. Color looks rich & the wallet feels soft & smooth. Get yourself one!
