Go to install 4 hours yesterday and 8 today and still not any farther than when I took it out of the box, call Tivo and get it activated, call Spectrum, they activate it, start set up and can't get past a certain point, every single time. Call Tivo, they tell me it's a Spectrum problem, call Spectrum they tell me it's a modem problem, call Motorola and they tell me it's now an Arris problem, give me the number and Arris tells me it's now Zoom, call them, I'm caller 6, 15 minutes later I"m caller 5, an hour later a robot comes on and tells me Zoom is closed for the day, call back tomorrow. Call Tivo again and they give me ports that need to be opened, call my modem company, no help. I search help and find out how to open ports BUT I need Tivo ISP address, Tivo remote doesn't do anything but keep me in the loop to try to connect. 2 days and umpteen hours later I'm pretty certain this is a piece of crap. Returning it and will go back to trying to find something that will actually give me some TV shows. Frustrated to no end. UPDATE: What a fiasco, sent this it back and ordered a replacement. They send you a label, guess what? Not postage paid, post office charges me $34.50. Amazon does make good on that. Received the replacement and there is no plug in the box, they shipped the TiVo with a remote and nothing else, no way to plug it in. So I'm back to waiting once again for this company to send me a plug before I can watch TV while paying for cable.
