This is a great toothbrush for the price. This is comparable to my $100 electric oral-b. I like that it has 5 different cleaning modes. The unit also has 2 timers, one for 30 seconds to tell you when to change areas of mouth and one 2 minute timer to say when you are done. Most toothbrushes at this price range only have 2 minute timer. The unit looks great and is well made. Comes with 2 extra heads, manual and USB cord. Only downside is only comes with USB cord, but no wall charger. Also USB plus is in bottom of unit, so toothbrush must be laid down to charge it. Toothbrush seems to charge quickly and battery has done great so far.
Pros: Well made Good battery Comes with 2 extra heads 30 second and 2 minute timer
Cons: Minor No usb wall charger, bought one off amazon for $5
I've been a heavy coffee drinker and smoker for 40 years. I do take care of my teeth but there were some brownish looking areas inbetween teeth and a general "not so white" look. Well I finally quit smoking a month ago and decided it was time to clean up my act even further. Had an older Electric toothbrush that was finally failing. Did not want to spend a lot of money to "try" out something else so I bought this. WOW! After my first brushing with this it felt as if I had got a cleaning at the dentist. Long story short... brushing each day with this and using the little crevice brush head they include, 3 weeks later there is an ENORMOUS positive change in my teeth. After seeing my results, my wife, daughter and son-in-law all bought one for themselves.
I bought this toothbrush mainly for my daughter because it had variable speeds and my wife sonic toothbrush is too intense for her, To my surprise this is an excellent toothbrush, I have thousands of dollars worth of dental work done to my mouth and I am unable to use the Sonic type toothbrushes. Most are too strong and I run the risk of loosening dental work but with this toothbrush on sensitive I am actually able to use it myself, so in return I have confiscated it for my own and will have to order my daughter the pink one as soon as possible. if you're looking for a Sonic style toothbrush and do not want to spend $100 this is well worth the money, I never thought I could buy a toothbrush of this quality for the price that we paid. Three thumbs up
It does not have the power of my older Sonicare but surprisingly gets between my teeth more clean. I have noticed my gums are growing back where reseeded and almost nothing pulled out while flossing compared to before. It is smaller handle and lighter weight too. I love it. I can afford to buy new heads more often too. I even purchased one for my wife and she likes hers.
I purchased this toothbrush because it was cheap. I used it for 3 weeks without a problem but when it needed charging it wouldn't charge. I tried different plugs & left it plugged in overnight. But no charge. I requested a refund on Amazon & the company wrote me & sent me a new toothbrush that I received yesterday. I am very pleased that the company backs it's products because it doesn't happen too often in today's world. I will update how the toothbrush functions after I use it for awhile.
My daughter's dentist recommended we get her an electric toothbrush and this one is perfect. It has a 2 minute timer that forces her to brush until the timer goes off. You have no idea how long 2 minutes are until you are waiting for your child to finish brushing. The toothbrush came with 3 brush heads and a special gift attachment that my daughter insists works like floss. There are 5 modes and one button. The button toggles through the light up modes so you know which one you are on. The modes are: White ,clean, sensitive, polish, massage.
The brush comes with a USB charger cord. It took 4 hours to charge but it says it will hold the charge for 30 days. I will let you know. We have a USB wall adapter but this may be annoying for others.
Pros: I love the colors. Blue and black is one of my favorite color combinations. Timer feature Quick charge Additional toothbrush heads Great price point
Cons: USB charging
We will be ordering additional toothbrush heads so the whole family can use this brush
Well I'm not a dentist so I can't say if this removes plaque or not. But the brush head seems to vibrate very fast. It charges easily and the charge will last for quite a well before it needs to be charged again.
It feels a lot lighter compared to the other elec toothbrushes I've had. The only complaint, and it's pretty minor, is that it doesn't come with a wall plug. It uses one of those USB to electric outlet blocks - the ones your cell phone typically comes with. I've already got several of them laying around the house from old cell phones and kindles, so it wasn't a big deal for me.
The toothbrush, at this point, (6 weeks of using it daily and heavily), seems quite amazing and ESPECIALLY for 1. the price and then the additional 2. small profile and 3. usb charging, meaning it's 4. EASILY portable and can be taken, easily, on camping or backpacking trips. (the charge seems to last a long time so, while i'm not reading the specs right now, on significant trips one would not need to recharge and then a simple small power supply like used for one's iphone etc. would work, or obviously a small solar charger).
I am used to the highly regarded and National Institute of Health tested, Philips Sonicare which I've used since they were introduced. So that's my base of comparison.
The one thing I would be curious about is any "peer reviewed articles", simply meaning scientific reviews done on this unit, as I believe the NIH (National Institute of Health, a government organization) in fact as comparative scientific studies they've done on the Philips Sonicare and other competitors.
Therefore, the one thing I cannot speak about is if the unit is super healthy over long use, as opposed to being too abrasive, or too soft, or some other variable. Please note: I'm just mentioning it doesn't have the benefit of decades of clinical testing. There is NO reason to assume it is too abrasive (they provide extra brush heads including a soft version, "free" meaning part of the price of the unit, whereas buying extra brush heads for a Sonicare can be as expensive as the unit itself, (their entry level unit).
In the meantime though, and because I am often very poor, this unit has SAVED THE DAY!
Also, should I get another Sonicare, this unit can then be both a back up for camping or traveling (hotel use etc.), or the body cleaned and sanitized with alcohol or hydrogen peroxide, and the (amazingly generously provided) extra brush heads (or one of them), can be put on the toothbrush and it makes a great "Guest Toothbrush" should one have a guest who forgot their toothbrush.
In all cases I love the unit, it was/is a "life saver" or a "tooth saver", as my Sonicare had finally died of old age, 🙂 and I did not have enough to buy a new one.
This toothbrush needs to be assembled, which took me just few minutes, and then you have to allow it to charge for , this charge lasted about few days for me again it depends on usage . My first few brushes made my gums bleed from overstimulation; just like when you floss for the first time in a long time, but they got more accustomed to it. I did however discover that my teeth are more sensitive than I thought but luckily you can easily change the mode and I switched to a more sensitive brushing. The timer and help with brushing are an awesome bonus feature... the overall features are same to those high end brush brands ... so this one seems steal deal !!
I just love these toothbrushes. First bought one for myself, then my 6 year old and today I'm buying one for my mom. Great value. I had never used an electric toothbrush before because they were so expensive. I bought this one because of the great reviews and price. I thought it would be a good way to "test the waters" in terms of electric toothbrushes before I spent money on the really expensive ones. I'm not sure I'll ever need to buy those other kinds, though, because this one is excellent. I feel like I just came from the dentist every time I brush my teeth.
