The thing I love most about this series isn’t the rags to riches stories or the “what would I do if I had all that money” fantasies. It’s the connection between the characters. The brotherhood between the Mavericks, forged in love, stronger than blood. Their respect for the parents that sacrificed so much to raise them, the protectiveness of their little sister. And most of all, how each opened themselves to the women who held the key to their hearts.
I was surprised that this wasn’t the last book. I expected it to be Lyssa’s story. I’m so glad that there’s more to come, and they’re going to encompass their growing family.
