Cheaply made, Loud
Reviewed in the United States on April 2, 2020
The kettle looks great in the photos, but once you hold it in your hand, you realize how cheap it looks and feels. The lid on my kettle is slightly off center and tends to warp to one side during use. It's slight, but still--if they can't even get the lid right, wonder how the circuits are. Also, the hinge for the lid is plastic. =( I thought for $40 that it would function somewhat better than my cheapie $20 Hamilton Beach, but it's way worse. The kettle is very loud--as soon as you press on, you can hear it--it's the only thing you'll be able to hear b/c there's no point in trying to talk over it. Also, the shut-off button doesn't turn off right away when the water is boiling--it boils on for ~20 seconds longer before it decides to shut off.
Positives: exterior does not get hot and interior is all stainless.
