Easy to use. Just clamp the clamps and start the car. Not much to it. Worked great for my sierra. Will be a nice addition the tool box to keep me from getting stranded.
Time will tell on durability but seems to be built very well. No complaints there.
These are so convenient. My neighbor asks me to help jump her car about once a month after her kid leaves the door cracked open and the light on over night. Much easier then trying to position my truck close enough to hers.
I had a completely dead motorcycle battery sitting in my Honda Magna 750 and this this jumped it on the first try. I don't know how many uses I'll get out of it at full charge but I will charge this up everytime I use it. The charger seems well built and has a very solid feel to it. It feels like it might survive a 6 foot drop to the concrete but I won't test my theory. The two USB ports will come in handy while I'm on the road for my business. The integrated flashlight is also a nice touch. I will get another one for my wife's car.
Pros 1. Small size and weight. Length and width) is the same size of iPhone 8 (with an otter box case). Thickness is double. 2. 3 A charging output per port
Cons: 1. The 1 ft USB Type-C charging cable is literally useless from a length perspective. 2. Wall adapter costs extra. A will a longer charging cable. 3. They say that they will extend warranty by 6 months, but no instructions or website/card to register. 4. LED flash light is mediocre at best. Maybe 200 lumens output. No flash mode or colored flashing lights for indicating an emergency. 5. No carrying case provided
love this , just got it in yesterday tossed a charge on it and used it to jump start my lawn tractor .... ( tractor has a bad battery ) I normally have to string an extension cord out and put charger on it for a couple hours to start this saved me a ton of hassle and time ... I realize I should buy a new batter for the tractor but they only work for one season and got tired of doing so so I just jump them ....
Insurance for your car. While vacationing on the east coast it saved us time. Last day of vacation, packed the car, took our garbage to the large can, came back for the family and tried starting the car and nothing. Pulled the jumper out hooked it up and fired right up. Drove 500 miles with a few stops letting the engine run, made it home, shut the car off. For the heck of it I tried to restart and you guessed it nothing again. Quick jump and drove to auto parts store for new battery. Purchased for each car, this way we will never ask for a jump, who carries cables anyway?
We already own one of these Battery Boosters, and have needed to use it several times -- others have needed help and luckily we carry this in the truck. I asked hubby if he had one in the car too, and answer was not yet .... he immediately sat down and ordered one for our car too. It starts car immediately, works exactly as expected. Nice that it comes in it's own carry case too. Now we are covered should we have battery problems, or when we can help others along the way too. SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE TO THINK ABOUT, THE FIRST TIME YOU NEED IT YOU WILL BE SO HAPPY YOU HAVE THE BATTERY BOOSTER.
GREAT DEAL. BEST DEAL ON AMAZON. WORKS PERFECTLY. BATTERY WAS DEAD AND NOT JUMPED IN OVER SIX MONTHS. INSTANT START WITH THIS PRODUCT. TAKES SECONDS TO SET UP. CAN LEAVE IN CAR FOR FUTURE USE. FULL CHARGE IS STRONG AND LASTING. BETTER THAN EXPECTED FOR PURPOSE.
I have a 2012 Corolla which I has had issues with battery phantom drain (which I've tried tons of things to diagnose). In the end, if I don't run the car at least a few times a week, I run into a situation where the battery isn't enough to start the car. I've already replaced the battery and still have similar issues. Anyways, this is a good stopgap until I truly find out what the issue is. It really is as simple as plugging in the cables and connecting to the battery terminals and it'll give a good enough jolt to start the car. The LED on the plug makes hooking stuff up correctly a no brainer and will let you know if there is a fault. Also, unlike jumping a car from another car, there aren't any sparks you have to worry about when connecting that last negative clamp. Few tips when using though. Since I want to make sure this is ready to jump my car at anytime, I use a car 12V adapter to charge it. Make sure you get one that can put out 3A from the 5v USB plug if you want it to be able to fast charge. Same with an AC wall adapter. Many older AC wall adapters will only put out 1.5 or 2A which is not fast charging (which this battery can take). DO NOT leave the battery in your car if you park in the hot sun though! I take it when me in my bag when I park since the heat will degrade the battery very quickly. Finally, make sure that charge it every once in a while since it does have a slight self discharge over time. You would hate it to find out that it had less than 50% charge when you really needed it.
