Do what they're supposed to do!

Bought these for my husband. Be aware, compression socks always run TIGHT. As a nurse, I learned to stretch them out before trying to put them on patients. Take an end in each hand & pull out as far as possible, repeat several times. To put on, gather them up at the opening & stretch hard, making the opening easier to slide over toes. Once they're on, you'll find they feel REALLY good, decreased ankle swelling when taken off. Easier to put on with repeat wear.then he

POOR QUALITY. RIPPED AFTER 2 USES.

I’m a registered nurse, so being on my feet for 12 hrs is horrible without good feet support. Looked on amazon to see what product was worth, and I saw great reviews for this brand so I bought a pack.
First couple of uses (maybe 2 uses) I LOVED this! Great colors, supported my legs. But then just after 2 uses, almost 5 out of my 7 pairs ended up with little holes like the photo I posted!
Mind you the size of my feet is 7 and I am 130 lbs if you need a size reference.
It’s disappointing cause there were such good reviews, but my pairs didn’t even last more than 2 uses.
Definitely would recommend not buying and to purchase from a better brand with better quality.

These are great if you don't need near medical grade support. These are moderate compression for those who stand on their feet all day and do not have a medical reason for compression stockings. I got these for my wife and she feels better when she wears these to work. She feared that they would be tight like the ones I wear but she agrees that these are easy to put on.

I wear an 8.5-9 ladies shoe and ordered the large socks as recommended. I'm 5'7" and am a bit overweight (160#). These socks are too big - extra large foot, has about an inch extra space in the heel and are too long - maybe an extra 1.5 inches in length and really aren't compressing much. I wear compression socks to help with an ankle injury, these don't really offer the degree of compression I expected for the number. They are also very thin, not fragile, but I expect they won't last long. I'd hoped to save the price of buying Sockwell compression socks. Not with these. If I hadn't washed them trying to shrink them, I'd return them.

Inconsistent fit and design flaw with logo

Generally these are a really good value for 8 pair of compression socks. I purchased the XL and my calf size is right around the maximum size on the size chart, and perhaps slightly larger. So far I've worn 5 of the 8 pair, and 3 of them have been incredibly comfortable and 2 of them have been so tight around the upper band that I had to take them off within an hour or two because I felt like it was cutting off circulation. I'm sure if my leg was smaller this wouldn't be as much of an issue. I do wish they sold them in a little larger size. I've never really understood why compression sucks, which are made for people with swelling, do not have larger options.

One thing I can't stand about them is the logo. Aesthetically it looks awful because one letter is printed on top of the other so it looks like it's messed up, and when you wear them totally stretched out at the top size, they also look warped. They are also not symmetrical to each other so as you can see from one of the photos, the logos are not in the same place on each leg, so it looks like poor quality control that nobody cared what they were going to look like. The logo is also huge and unsightly. If you look at one of the photos I included, you can also see that the stitching behind it is really lumpy and on the tighter pairs that actually digs into my leg and has left marks.

They do seem to help with the swelling, when they're not cutting off circulation, and I think they would work best for someone whose calf is not at the maximum (19"). Sometimes they also pinch around my little toe which can be annoying. I think these are a case of you get what you pay for. I've had actual compression stockings that cost a lot of money and were much more comfortable, and this is really a bargain in comparison so I'm willing to put up with some of the annoyances of them.

Stick to the solid colors

I ordered the black socks, and they work great. I don't have serious issues, but I do work on my feet all day and noticed that sometimes my ankles swell a bit. My doctor recommended a light compression stocking and this did the trick! My only complaint is that the toes are cut straight across, so I have to be careful to not pull them up too far in my foot or they squish the end of my long second toes.

I was lusting over the black and gray pack (which also contains some navy), and received it as a Christmas gift. I was not nearly as happy with the patterned socks. The patterns are not smooth, but rather embroidered into the background. This is no good for a compression sock, because the thick parts of the pattern get embedded into your legs. After wearing the polka dot socks, I look like I've come down with pox! They also don't seem to have the same compression as the solid color socks. I've pretty much stopped wearing most of the socks from this pack, other than the 2 striped pair that don't have the embroidered pattern. Bummer, because I was so excited about the fun patterns.

Overall, I'd give the black (or other solid color) socks 4.5 stars, but only 1 star for the patterned socks.

More cons than pros...

I work 12 hour shifts and am on my feet a lot, plus I'm currently pregnant so I have been having more swelling in my legs than normal. My old compression socks were starting to wear out (I've had them about 8 or 9 years), so I decided to buy new ones and these were the ones I purchased. I like them well enough but there is definitely room for improvement. I would not re-purchase, but I will make due rather than trying to return them.

Pros! They provide a nice level of compression. The detailing is cute, and they are also listed at a reasonable price point.

Cons... I expected the details to be printed onto the socks but they are embroidered. When you take the socks off you are covered in spots/shapes/splotches of whatever pattern you were wearing because of the threads. The feet are too long and the compressed part keeps pushing the toe box forward which squishes my pinky toes. I wear a women's 9.5 shoe, so this should not be a problem for the size I purchased. Also, I pulled one of them up too far yesterday and it cut off blood flow behind my knee. When I adjusted the sock it hurt for several minutes, as is to be expected when you get blood flowing back into the restricted area- so watch out for that.

Not much compression to these socks

First let me give these socks their due: They fit very well and seem to be well made. They arrived on the promised date without any problems. What they do not offer is very much in the way of compression. I suffer from diabetic foot pain and have worn compression socks for a long time. These are closer to the old baseball sanitary socks than they are to a real compression sock, They seem to be the same weave throughout with no visible gradiation or reinforced areas. These go in the bottom drawer until my son drops by. Maybe they will be of some use to him as a mild workout or running sock.

Decent for price, run large

These are pretty good for the price... I work on my feet for 12 hours, and they helped keep my legs from hurting so bad. I wear a size 10 and ordered a small/medium. They are still a little big... they are tight enough to do the job, but they come up a little high. They hit mid knee on me, so I had to pull them down a little so they wouldn’t roll. Also, when I wore the ones with stars (super cute), after 12 hours I was left with star impressions on my legs! I will wear them still until they fall apart, these were just a few critiques.

I have many pairs of compression socks since recently diagnosed with venous insufficiency and although i used the sized guide the are too loose as well as too long for my legs. When I wear them I have ankle swelling by the end of the day. They area very cute and I really like the designs on them they are just not as high compression as advertised and are about 1" too long.

The colors are so pretty and cute! I have very skinny legs (been called chicken legs a lot) so the size for my foot size fit me in a non-compression way. Didn’t expect to have to fight to get them on but they slid up as smooth and easily as a regular pair of long socks. Pretty sure they need to be pretty snug to be effective. If you have normal size legs you would be happy.

I was so excited to get these socks. I'm 9 months pregnant now, and I am a nurse. I started having foot and ankle swelling at the beginning of my third trimester of pregnancy, and I am already on my feet a lot at work. While these definitely help with the swelling significantly, there are certainly some negatives. These socks are very thin and one pair got holes in them after 2 uses and washes on gentle cycle. They also will not absorb sweat like athletic socks do (which is what I usually wear), so my feet stink and feel gross every time I wear them. I would not recommend these for individuals with diabetes because of the potential for fungal infections since they are not absorbent. And I'm sure this last negative for me is only a personal issue due to pregnancy, but these socks are so hard to get on and off, when it's already difficult for me to bend down. My husband usually has to help me get them on and off. 3 stars because the product works, but quality could be improved
