Amazon.com: Customer reviews: TBI Pro Professional K9 Dog Shock Training Collar with Remote Long-Range E-Collar with Shock, Vibration Control, Rechargeable & Fully IPX7 Waterproof for Small, Medium, Large Dogs, All Breeds
I purchased the TBI Pro All-New 2019 Dog Shock Training Collar with Remote for my 3 dogs (Bichon/Yorkie Mix, Bichon, Maltipo) who have some behavior issues when it comes to barking and jumping on visitors who come to the door. This collar so far has exceed my expectations. The build quality is rugged and remote to receiver transmission so far has been reliable and flawless. We tried it at a park probably a little more than 2000 ft and it still worked. Before putting it on our dogs we tested it on ourselves on our arms 25%, 50%, 100% strengths and the vibration and shock were very noticeable and consistent. The collar also comes with a testing device to ensure the shock component work (if you don't want to test it on yourself =) ). I would definitely recommend this to others.
Recommendations for use: - If your dog has really thick hair around it neck it may not feel the shock. Either ensure your dog had a hair trim or ensure when you fit the collar on your dogs neck its snug and the contacts are touching through the thick hair
Pro's: - Battery lasts a long time - Remote and collar well built, rugged design - Response from pressing button on remote to hearing the beep/vib/shock are instant, no delays or - No to heavy, fits well
We got this collar when we adopted a 10 month old puppy from a shelter recently. We wanted to be able to play in the yard with him with our two kids and since we didn’t have a fence when we got him, we were concerned about him running away or getting near the road. We decided to use this type of collar for the first time ever. I was nervous because I wasn’t sure how well they worked or how a dog would respond to the vibrations. We have had a wonderful experience with it. He responds to vibration button really quickly. I don’t usually have to even push a button. He usually just comes on command now. It was very easy to use and charge. The battery life lasts a long time. It has been an awesome tool to train our new puppy on the boundaries of our yard. I also love the affordable price. Thanks so much!
This product has been heaven sent for my family! My husband deployed shortly after getting our puppy and I went mad trying to train him basics, like not running out the door when someone rings it. This collar has helped me fully train him and even do some tricks. We can go to off leash open spaces without worrying that he won’t come back. It’s truly a wonderful product. Our dog is a completely different, but better, dog thanks to this collar.
A great tool for training your dog. I use mine on my Dutch Shepard. I used to have her in an underground perimeter fence shock collar area so she is already aware a *beep" means a shock is coming next. I literally have never had to use the "shock" function on this thing. She immediately stops what it is she is doing at the sound of the beep. I do love the option to "beep", "vibrate", or "shock" as well as the ability to adjust the strength setting of the vibrate and shock functions from the remote. My Shepard is a really smart dog to begin with so much credit has to be given to her but the hand held training remote is a great assisting tool for the training process. I have had it for about six months now and still working as the day I opened it. If you are looking for something dependable that just flat out works definitely go for this device. I love it.
This is an excellent training collar, and fornthe price you cant beat it. My biggest pro about this this collar is all the options it provides. As the decription says, it will beep, vibrate, or five a shock. Which is awesome if you dont want to jump straight into using the shock. Also great, because you can use the beep or vibrate before you shock, like a warning, and soon enough, your pet will hear\feel the beep\vibration, and stop what they are doing before you even have to shock anymore. My favorite is the remote. It isnt too bulky, has a slight rubbery feel so it isnt too slippery, and all the buttons are clearly labeled, so no shocking by mistake. I appreciate that they provided plastic tabs to go over the prongs of the collar to keep the prongs from rubbing my furbaby's neck raw. Also, i like that the collar was reflective, so when my furbaby is in the backyard at night i can see him easily and know where hes at. AND, this collar has a shock level 1-100! Unbelievable. With a built in safety feature if you go above 50. Ou cant go wrong with this collar. I love it. If i simply had to point out any cons, i only have one. I wish the buttons on the remote were backlit so i can see them in the dark. The display is backlit, but not the buttons. Oh, and if your wondering, the battery life is also pretty good. The collar seems to need charged before the remote, the remote lasts a pretty long time, but the collar needs charged about every 2 weeks, depending on use.
2 vibration/beep combinations have completely changed our Corgi, she sometimes bullied the older Sheltie, especially if I was cooking. This led to us pulling her into another room for a timeout several times a day, it was very difficult to enjoy the dogs if she was around, she had to be top dog. No more- this collar is the answer to a prayer, I was afraid to try it in case of failure; it has been a great success and I haven’t had to use shock mode at all. I intend to use it to help train her to walk with harness. Thanks for a great product!
I absolutely love this collar. It’s helped train my Australian Shepherd tremendously in such a short time. Just using the beep option is enough to get her to stop pulling on the leash, jumping on people who walk in my door, and letting go of a toy when my kids are playing with her. The collar and the remote hold it’s charge, and is the most durable collar I’ve tried.
