I will say right away there will be no spoilers of any kind on this book. This is the 5th and final book in this series. And this by far is the best book I have ever read!!!! The author put everything into this final book. I am pretty good at guessing what will happen in books. But in no way was I prepared for this book. It was just unbelievable. If you are lucky you will find that one author, who no matter what they write the book is amazing. And Rosemary Johns is that author for me. Violet and her fam are in for the fight of their lives. Violet has to seduce the Emperor's shifter son. Is he as bad as his father? Next, she has to become a body guard to the Emperor if she fails her vampire/angel lovers will be tossed into the Abyss. Then it finally happens.... all hell breaks loose. Violet meets her creator and omg what she finds out is worse than anything I could imagine. This will be her final battle, this battle may cost Violet her life and the lives of the ones she loves!! Who will live and who will die???? Rosemary Johns finale was out of the world!!!! I do not believe there is another author who could of ended this series in such a way. After you read this book, you will still have it on your mind. Its unforgettable!! I can not imagine a better ending for this amazing series!! If you like bad a** heroines, magic, epic battles this is for you. The characters are one of a kind, just like the worlds Rosemary creates. You will be sucked right into the story. This book was a page turner, on the edge of my seat thrill ride. You will not be able to put this book down. Such an awesome ending!!!!
Violet is in the world of Seraphim and she has a few huge tasks ahead of her. She needs to take the test by monster, which no one other than Fae has ever survived. She also needs to take care of her father. Everything is a game to him and he's hurt her family and others for far too long and he must be stopped.
Violet has come a long way in her journey. She's less impulsive this time, she thinks about her actions and the repercussions. She is also so much more careful with her family, making sure they are being taken care of and that she isn't asking them to do anything they wouldn't want to do.
There were moments in Vampire God that I was worried either Violet or one of her family members came too close to the edge. The punishments that they had to endure were sometimes life-threatening and I found myself on the edge of my seat, hoping with all hope they would survive. There were so many secrets revealed in this one that I can't share because I don't want to spoil it, but let's just say that Violet learns there's so much more to herself than she ever realized.
John's has even made me a fan of some characters I never really liked one way or the other in the past, such as Lucifer. The way Violet felt for him was palpable, and that in turn made me softer towards him. This has been such a fun series, it's been amazing watching Violet grow through all of the challenges she's been presented or landed herself into. A fabulous way to end the series.
HOLY CRAP! Talk about bringing the house down. Rosemary doesn't miss a beat. She rules this bad boy from start to finish with one thrilling storyline and explosive plot bringing this baby roaring to life spectacularly. She pulls us into her imagination and weaves a world around us until everything else ceases to exist. She has totally rocked this entire series with her on point realism that demands our respect and we give it freely. The plethora of emotions that run throughout can bring you to your knees one second and strong as steel the next. You feel everything the characters feel. They're complex, believable and so realistic you feel like you can reach out and touch them. In a world where chaos reigns and your back against the wall you work with what you have while everything continues to crumble around you. The trials and tribulations explode with all the drama, uncertainty, danger and suspense keep that you on a razors edge and total focus on the pages as the tale unfolds. Twixted and twinned and put through the wringer bringing this nerve racking, nailbiting, hard hitting, page turning thriller together flawlessly. The scenes are so vividly detailed you have no trouble picturing each one as they play off one another beautifully. Rosemary stepped up the game with her insight, creativity and endless talents. She is definitely becoming a force to be reckoned with. Remarkable job Rosemary, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.
Oh my! What did Violet and her family get themselves into in this final installment? Fighting the Creator and Father of her and Mischief! Discovering more siblings along the way! At one point Violet loses the one true entity she had relied upon for her entire existence and that is when she became the God she was supposed to be! As her cohorts will learn, you are never alone in a battle, much less a war! It will take just about everything they have in them to stop and defeat the newest and most powerful entity they have run across yet! Can they do it? Who will die? What relationships will survive and perish? Who are the new family members? Are they trustworthy? Rosemary Johns proves you can still dig deep enough to give a series the finale it deserves – this one goes out with a BANG! It will be the kind we all love and root for! She has given her all in the Rebel Angel books and it is a shame to see these chapters come to an end! Action packed, snarkiness, love, tragedy and sacrifice are still in play of a large magnitude in this book! You will LOVE the ending! I received this book for free and am leaving a voluntary review.
I received an arc of this book and am willingly leaving a review. I have read the four previous books and absolutely lived them! This was no different. Awesome characters with settings that your mind had no problem conjuring up. Violet and her FAM of supernatural misfits were still super engaging, easy to love and totally family oriented. The love, and extent that they went through for each other is just extraordinary! I love it!!! I'm sad for this to end but have not been left hanging from the ending. Now I can't wait for this new world of Werewolves that's to come! ❤❤
This is the final book in this series. I've watched as Violet has grown as a person and how she cares for those she loves. She must again prove her worth in battles and figure out who in this God's realm is trust worthy. She finds more family and learns more secrets as the book goes on. She is more protective of her fam in this book and is more careful and thoughtful in how she does things. I was on the edge a few times not sure if she or some of her fam were going to survive. I have enjoyed this series and loved seeing how Violet and her fam have grown and matured.
A fantastic addition to the Series. Just like the other books in this series. This is a real page turner, when you start reading you get lost in this world so much that before you no it your at the end of the read. Violet knows she is running out of time. If your a supernatural lover, and of Fantasy with Magic this is definitely the read for you. And this Author hits a home run with the series. Shauna Joesten

I enjoyed it all immensely, the characters, plots down to the style of writing. It totally grips you and sends you head-first into an adventure like no other. Forget the movies, pickup a Rosemary A Johns book instead.
I fell in love with Violet and her Fam in book one, and the love just got bigger with each book! What a wonderful end to this part of the series!!! As usual Violet kicks ass and and deals with everything thrown at her with the help of her fam. Kudos to Ms. John's for having such an amazing talent, and fertile imagination!!
