On Feb. 1, I wrote a review for "The ABC Murders," which was not posted by Amazon. I called Amazon twice and spoke to four reps who had no explanation as to why my review was not posted. Finally, I received an e-mail from Amazon stating that my review was "hidden," which means I was censored. Why I was censored, I cannot say. The title of the review is "Not faithful to the Author's Intent." Yes, it was a negative review, but it was not inappropriate. I would certainly not write anything inappropriate. Moreover, as a retired teacher of Latin and English I pride myself on writing grammatically accurate reviews. This begs the question, of course, will this review be posted?
"A Royal Christmas Wedding," is a pleasant film about a prince, now a king of a small European kingdom, who left behind a woman he loved 17 years ago in Los Angeles where he had attended college. Unknown to him, the woman, Alison, played by Tara Reid, was pregnant with his child. Seventeen years later, their daughter, Lily, played by Haley Pullos, is a lovely, bubbly teenager, who always wondered who her father is. The king returns to L.A. on business after 17 years and visits Alison who is now a successful architect. What ensues after the King and Alison reconnect and how the truth is revealed makes for a good denoument. The clothes and hair styles are quite lovely in this film.
I recommend this film.
