I purchased this item for a totally different use than its intended function. This was a perfect fit on the crossbar of my aunt's walker, and is used as a leg rest to put her feet up, when she is in a chair. The length was a perfect fit!!
Every time I go to the gym trying to fin one of these is more of a workout than my actual workout! I can never find one! These like 1 out when there's 5 Squat machines.. This has been my life saver! I always bring it and I never worry about having to look for one. Only change is maybe a lil more cushion but even then is really nicely padded!
So I'm a germaphobe and am totally grossed out by the thought of a barbell pad soaked in a strange guys sweat. Ugh. I'd always end up wrapping the towels around the bar, but they shift alot and don't add much padding anyways. I finally decided to get my own pad and personalized set up. This pad made all the difference. The cutout for my neck is comfortable, and the pad is not soaked with sweat or bulky towels. Very happy with this item!
So let's talk about having to search for 1 of these in the gym and getting one that's broken or sweaty. This pad is amazing comfortable and easy to use. I love that it come with staps so you you don't have to worry about the velcro not working. The notch in the pad is perfect for your neck. Ita super thick and long enough for when you doing hip thrust. With so much germs already in the gym I love that I have one less thing to worry about getting me sick.
I love this Barbell Pad! It is tough yet soft foam protecting your muscles from the bar. The straps are a great added feature keeping the pad in place and away from sliding; as well as it never digs into you. Perfect for Barbell hip thrusts and a heavy back squat load. Also, i'm in love with the logo! 100% would recommend!
The barbell pad has helped me so much!! Doing squats and hip thrusters was always frustrating when using a barbell because I could never add as much weight as I wanted without having the barbell dog into my skin and leave me with all sorts of crazy bruising. The peach bands barbell cover has been a life saver I can now comfortably do squats and hip thrusters with as much weight as I want and I never have to worry about being in pain
This product is multi functioning and can be used not only to squat but also to do lunges, hip thrusts, etc. Unlike the barbell pads most gyms carry (LA Fitness) this pad is much more spongey so it does not bear too much strain on the shoulders. I can lift heavy for my weight, however I need a pad because I’ve struggled with upper back/shoulder pain for years. I find myself being able to lift heavier with PeachBands brand than the one offered at the gym. I also like to have my own equipment because it’s clean and I know other peoples sweat isn’t on it! The only thing you must make sure you do is to secure the band with the straps when squatting or lifting heavy. It is larger than the bar and will slide off without it!!! Be careful.
I loved the texture, the color and the comfortable experience while lifting heavy! Certainly what I was looking for.. It took me two days to receive it. 🙌🏼 It comes with a cute bag that Is very helpful to organize and keep the two security straps that it comes with it and the pad togather! I recently started squatting with 45s and although it may seem like nothing to some people, I definitely needed assistance. I threw this on the bar and it made all the difference! Until I can comfortably go deeper with my squat, I will definitely be utilizing this. Also major comfort when it comes to hip thrusts with these! The pad I used to work with was a little small, but this one is perfect for my size!
Love my pink one! I never knew how much I needed a barbell pad before purchasing the Peach bands one! I use them for squats and hip thrusts, and it makes a huge difference! I use to use a towel rolled up and although it has some cushion it wasn’t enough and the weights always hurt my hip bones lol but now I can do heavier weight and no pain on my shoulders for squats and no pain on my hips for hip thrusts!
