Very nice Crocs with heavy duty design. I gave them 4 stars rather than 5 because I found 2 design issues that for me, make them less enjoyable than my other 3 pair of Crocs. The first is that the back strap is a piece of solid plastic with nylon webbing and Velcro. I know the intent is to give greater adjust ability in fit, but for me it creates a problem in that I find I have to bend and release the Velcro to take the shoes off. With my other pairs I can easily use the toe of the other foot to hold the strap down and slip off the shoe. Many people will find this a non problem but it is for me. The second issue is that the foot bed inside the shoe has some fairly aggressive ribbing which I assume is to make the foot more stable in the shoe. I don't find that it does that and I find the higher ridges annoying at times in everyday wear. On the plus side the more aggressive sole I do find helps in wet conditions. Overall I would recommend them, I just don't like them quite as much as I hoped I would.
Got these for my husband for Christmas for his next Elk hunting trip! They are a "new" version with tread that is more conducive for being out doors. He absolutely LOVES them. Never was a "Croc" guy, but he is super happy with these! He wears a size 12. That is the size I ordered and they fit perfectly. Material is also quality; not flimsy, so should last him quite a while. Only thing I wished they would have had was an insulated "inner lining." They don't but he doesn't seem to care...said he'll wear thick socks and be fine --- Okay!! WOULD recommend these definitely.
I ordered these but then returned them for one reason. The heel’s rubbery strap had a section of durable Velcro/fabric. Normally this isn’t a big deal, but I bought these crocs to slip into them easily when my hands are full or to take the trash out at night. My old crocs had a stiff heel and I could manipulate my foot into the croc with no hands. This model of crocs had a bendy heel strap so, if I chose to have the strap around my heel (instead of flipping it up) I had to use my fingers to pull it around my heel. Again, not a big deal, but I bought these specifically as durable slippers to quickly put on or take off without needing my hands.
Update: I took a chance ordered a size 5 in men's/boys, they fit my size 7 woman's foot! They are a bit wide, but when it's hot and my feet swell I will be a happy girl!
My husband loves this off road style, having thicker platform little pebbles and stones don't drift in shoe. He has a zillion of these Crocs and wears them for work, easy on and off, he refinishes floors for a living. Please always make this style and camo color!
Bought two pair: One for myself and another for my teenage son. We always pack Crocs on our epic adventures in the Rocky Mountains - as camp shoes, for boarding or coming ashore with kayaks, or fording streams while backpacking. They are lightweight and dry almost immediately after immersion in water. And oh my, they are soft and roomy... peel off your hiking boots after a hard day's hiking and slip these Crocs on and then you'll understand what these are all about. It was time for us to upgrade, and the thicker soles on these versions really held up to rocks, branches, and other sharp objects on a recent four day adventure.
Fit for shoes is a real personal thing. I like roominess in Crocs so I can wear them with or without socks. I typically wear an 11 US Men's in shoes and the 11 US Men's in these Crocs fits just how I like them. Fit is the same for this model as other Crocs I have owned in the past. Fantastic product, and the price I paid with Prime was over 25% less than local retailers' sale prices on "standard" Crocs sandals. Great value!
one of the reason I got these shoes was to just have a pair of durable shoes that I can leave by the door for those instances where I just need to run outside for something and I don't want to stop and put on a pair of tennis shoes or boots... and these work great for that...
I could see myself wearing these a whole lot more, however they are a little tight across the top of the foot. Now I don't know if they just need to be broken in or what, but as it is now, they are a little uncomfortable if I wear them for an extended period of time (more than an hour or so). For quick trips down to the boat dock or garage or to just run out to my truck for something, they are great.
Never had Crocs, never understood the attraction to them. Can't say they are any better than regular sandals, although they seem to breath better. I purchased these for house shoes, they are comfortable and they do not slip on wooden stairs. Fitment is a bit on the large size, yet the adjustable straps make up the difference.
My son doesn't wear flip flop style shoes, he wears these all summer instead. In the water and out. These are pretty universal. He wears them mostly barefoot but does not hesitate to put them on even when he has socks on. They wear well...the last pair were a little different style but camo crocs and they lasted him years. He wore off the minimal tread on the bottom so they were VERY slippery after wear. Even with the new tread, when walking on something wet, these are very slippery.
I ordered a unisex pair with unisex sizing. I wear a men's 8.5. No half sizes available so I mistakenly ordered a Women's 8.0 and Men's 6.0. Way to small, obviously. To correct my error I returned the first pair and ordered a second in Men's 8.0 and Women's 10.0. FITS GREAT! I believe these crocs run just a bit large this is why I settled on the men's 8.0 versus the men's 9.0. They are suppose to fit loose. Happy with my purchase. Well make and comfortable.
