Don’t even want to rate it a one, I ordered this device for my inspections to charge my laptop while on the road . Didn’t charge it at all , I popped my hood and went to the battery and tried to charge my laptop from the battery according to directions to get its full charge of 500 watts didn’t do anything there either . I even changed the fuses that came with the box . I wasn’t even happy with the way I received the box had a bunch of holes in it , after I pulled it out of the plastic, it had a bunch of dust all over the top of it like it had been sitting in the wherehouse collecting dust . Very unhappy with this device.
My son just purchased your 500watt power inv. and gave it to me for my birth day and all a sudden its not working, we were so glad when received but I connect a buzzer to it just stopped working and I like to know what happened to it, Im using now a 500w Energizer with no problem, sad
I purchased this to inflate river floats and when we tested the product at our house from the car as a power source it would routinely cut out and not supply power. We managed to get the two rafts fully inflated after many times of toggling the power switch. The pump did not draw more than 500 W so we were not over working the inverter. The day of the river outing (only one week later) when we tried to use this inverter it provided no output. No led status lights, no burnt out fuses it just stopped working. This is an awful product that will leave you stranded when you need power.
Leaving Saturday for a Christmas trip and order this to run a heating pad. Tried it out when I got it today. This is rated at 500 watts. Tried running heating pad that is 150 watts. It want run it. I also checked the volts and only get 112 volts. And yes it was connected straight to the battery. So this was a waste of time and money.
I have a 1997 year old truck and my heater went out. So i bought this inverter so I can have a heater to defrost my window. This says its a 500 watt. So my heater was a 250 watt. So I thought I was safe to get a lower Watt. well after a couple of days the part that goes into my lighter melted. Then when I looked closer the cord has a warning label saying do nit use no more then 150 watt. Im so confused and very disappointed, Now Im not sure what to do. Please double check what you are really buying. This was false advertising.
I have used it for 1 hour and then when I turned on the next time, the steady red light came on - indicating "short-circuit protection". After restarting the green light comes up for 2-3 seconds and then right light again. It is junk.
I went back to my 200W 6+ years old inverter, as at least that works, while this doesn't.
Piece of garbage did worked for 2 minutes, and then the 2 fuses burned down replaced them connect it to battery did it again this time smelled really bad burned out. Inside, piece of garbage , now I know way they includes extra fuses with it. I did rated one star because that's the minimum I can do, but it doesn't deserve it.
