It's really not that complicated. Call them and you just have to enter number and click next

It's really that easy. The top comments on here just take you through some complicated stuff that is absolutely not necessary. This is not a loophole. QB actually sells like this just like how GAP advertises the 40% coupon on their sites. This is my third time doing it and it has activated well without any hassles. You're getting hundreds off. I don't think it's that much hassle to stay in call for an hour. I've done it for refunds less than 50. This is nothing.
1. Call them. I waited 5 minutes in middle of Tuesday. Timing matters if you don't want to wait. Tell them you need to activate payroll. Have QB installed already. They'll ask where you bought. Say Amazon. They didn't even ask me for product ID cause it was already associated with my account.
2. They'll ask you to wait, apologize again for making you wait and again and again. They'll generate a code that they'll tell you to enter. You're done. Took me an hour. The rep's accent was perfect. Politeness goes both ways. You're just exchanging numbers anyway so I don't know the deal with the complaints about foreign reps. You give them EIN (a number), confirm business name (you speak), they give you a product code to enter (a number). If you have a hard time understanding how to hit next then maybe try practicing hitting nexts. It's simple.
