I first bought this model a few years ago. It worked for almost a year, then the water reservoir sensor quit working, the "add water" light stayed on, and the single serve side quit working. I continued using the carafe side for a quite a while but when my son wanted a single serve maker I decided to buy this model again. Cuisinart is a good brand, I thought. I must've just gotten a bad unit. The second time I bought this model, about 6 months ago, I ended up with the same thing happening after only 3 months. I was able to get a refund (thank you, Amazon!) and decided to try again. Three's a charm? Nope! This time it crapped out after only 6 weeks. I bought a Keurig single serve unit on Black Friday special, and I'm keeping this unit for the carafe brewing, but I regret the purchase. If the return window hadn't elapsed I would try to return it. I'm really disappointed!
