I have several Vionics for My standing job, they helped my plantar fasciitis pain. These are the prettiest. Comfortable, true to size. The only bad thing about all of them is your feet stink, I think it has to do with the lining so spray deodorant on your feet. I wish they would make more models because I have 6 pairs of the same.
I LOVE Vionic shoes and for at least the last 10 years they have been primarily the only shoes I buy and wear because they provide excellent support and alignment for my knees and hips. Over the past few years I have had terrible problems with my sandals causing or retaining terrible foot odor. I purchased this pair of sandals just two or three months ago and I am unable to wear them already because the shoes smell awful but look brand new. I am very disappointed especially since Vionics are fairly expensive. I am now searching for a different brand that can provide the same benefits that the Vionic footbed offers without the horrible foot odor. I did purchase one pair of sandals that seem to be working out fairly well - zero foot odor - but the support is not quite as good as the Vionic.
I originally ordered size 8w, which I ordered because 8 was out of stock. When it arrived it was too big and wide, so returned and ordered 7-1/2, which is perfect. I normally wear 8 or 8-1/2. So the shoe runs a little large. Have been wearing around the house and haven’t worn outside yet, but so far so good. Very comfortable and no rubbing or irritation with the straps. Happy so far.
Pretty & comfortable, and luckily not as “old lady” looking as I was worried they would be. The circles in the middle are very shiny, and there are flecks of gold in the cork straps, but overall they look basically neutral, with a little bling. I usually wear a 9 and the 9 fits fine.
A very pretty, feminine and versatile shoe, however, the 7.5 was too long. I've worn a 7.5 for almost 40 years but have noticed in the last couple of years that I can't take shoe measurments as standard and need to actually try them on to get a good fit. I believe the 7 would have been perfect in length but my foot was too wide for the sole. I seemed to hang over the edge of the shoe in the area of my foot between the ball and the heel which is unusual. I'm a normal width generally so I'm assuming these shoes run a bit narrow. I wish that they'd fit because they are very pretty, well made and wearable with a lot of different styles. The seller was very accommodating and easy to work with.
These shoes are very cute and have significantly helped to alleviate my heel pain. I especially like having the ability to remove the decorative strap. For the price, these shoes should be real leather, but I purchased them for the built-in orthotics. They are comfortable, but I wish they had some cushioning. They are quite hard, and for some unknown reason there are painful little bumps all over the foot bed. Overall, I am pleased with my first pair of Vionic shoes.
These sandals are very cute and very comfortable right out of the box. While I love the look, the feel and the many compliments I’ve received, there is one concern. There is zero traction on wet surfaces. I discovered this while washing my tile floor at home during the “break in period”. I was slipping all over unlike when I wear my Clark’s I specifically bought these because I needed a good sandal for my plantar fasciitis for an upcoming trip to Italy, so I was happy to discover the flaw before we left
I wore these all over Italy for hours of walking and the comfort was superior to the very good athletic shoes that I brought. Unfortunately there was a pop up thunderstorm in Sorrento and I was not surprised that I slipped on the slick cobblestones even though I was aware of the issue. Bottom line, I recommend them, but if there is the slightest chance of rain, wear something else.
I notice they have updated the sandal for 2020 and it looks like the sole now provides traction!
I ordered a 5M. I have a short, wide foot. Ideally I wear a 5W, which is almost impossible to find in any brand. So often times I will size up to a 5.5M, 5.5W, or even 6M, to accommodate my wide foot. Not with these shoes! DEFINITELY SIZE DOWN!!! Not only is the 5M a little long, it is very wide. If 4M was an option, I would be exchanging it. I am glad it had 3 adjustable/Velcro straps as they are adjusted as small as they go and I STILL have more room. That never happens; it is usually the other way around! This is my first pair of Vionics, and I am not sure about the high arch orthodic. I am hoping I will grow to love it!
I like the Vionic gold cork sandals. The only thing wrong, is that I ordered a size 7, and received a size 7W. They are too wide, but I wore them today, and wondered why my foot is moving in the front of the sandal. I know, that someone goofed up. That is why my 4 stars is what I give. I checked today, and my order was for a 7. Size down, they run long. I have another Vionic sandal, and it is a size 7.
These are very good shoes for the 3rd Trimester of pregnancy. Due to the belly, I can’t reach my feet easily at the moment, and my feet tend to swell by the end of the day. All of the straps on these shoes are Velcro, making them easily adjustable and easy to put on. They’re very comfortable and provide good support for my painful feet. They are not the most attractive and make my feet look like Fred Flintstone’s feet, but I can wear them to work without looking completely unprofessional. I’d definitely recommend these.
I love Vionics, and normally I wear the flip flops because they are so comfortable. However, I had major foot surgery this year and needed something with a back strap, so I decided to try these out. I like them very much. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars this time is that the strap across the top of my foot doesn't come across smoothly. It seems twisted and doesn't lay flat.
