We needed this kit for a physics project that my 16 year old had to do for school. The kit was so easy and fun and the slime was perfect. I thought my 16 year old would be so over slime making at her age but she had a blast. It was fun to see her and my husband get really into it! She enjoyed it so much that she went back and made extra slime for her friends for christmas gifts! I definitely recommend this kit!
My daughter loves making slime. I bought this because I was tired of all dealing with the different recipes she found on YouTube. This kit has everything you need. There are many of unique colors & things you can add to the slime. The included measuring cups and mixing bowls are nice so you don’t have to use your cooking utensils for the slime. I would buy this kit again.
Awesome kit overall! The pigment and color changer powder bottles came half full, but I think the rest of the kit made up for it.
I got this as a gift for my 10yo niece that likes making and playing with slime. She said “when I saw the box at first, I didn’t know what to think. But when I opened it, my expression totally changed altogether.”
Apparently she has tested other slime making kits, and this one is in the lead by far.
The box is a little smaller than I imagined it would be. You get 2 full size white glue and 2 smaller bottles of clear glue. If you have never made slime, this is a good beginner kit if you will. Everything you would need plus some is in the box which is a plus.
Make sure you following the directions exactly or it won’t come out right- more specifically the part where it says to stir the detergent in the mixture for 20 seconds a little at a time. If you don’t do a little at a time you will not have the right consistency and it will be a sticky mess.
Overall, good for the money. I like that it comes with everything you need including little containers to store made slime in. Would make a good gift for a child.
Over the weekend, it was raining all day and the kids were getting restless. I ordered this DIY slime kit for this exact situation. I have a closet full of "rainy day" things. This one was a hit. It was easy to use and fun for them to do a hands-on activity instead of just sitting on the couch and watching a movie. My daughter loved the mermaid slime and my son did a glow-in-the-dark one. And I'd be lying if I said I didn't make an orange glitter slime myself. We will definitely be doing this again-- rain or shine.
My daughter (7) and I had a lot of fun playing with this set. All items were well labeled and the instructions were easy to follow. We tried 4 different slime options the first time. Each was easy to create, although I ended up doing the majority of the squishing together at the end as her hands got tired from all the squishing.
I used press and seal wrap on my table top to protect it and it worked excellent.
I see many more slime making days in our future!
It would be nice if the set came in a nicer box for giving it as a gift.
My daughter and I love this kid. My daughter loves the fact that it came with everything that she needs and a bunch of stuff she really didn't but would really really wanted to have. Like the color changing stuff the glow in the dark stuff I could go on and on. My favorite part is the containers. Every time my daughter make slime I am missing about half my Tupperware containers. With this kid I don't have to worry about that it came with a bunch of containers for her to put her slime in with the lids attached so she doesn't have to worry about losing the lid. We both made slime together it was a very fun activity we spent most of the day we made tons and tons different types of slimes and it even comes with the recipe book in case your child doesn't know how to make a bunch of recipes already mine didn't need the recipe book but I did. Lol.
This is such a cute kit! My kids are always wanting slime and it takes a lot of work (kny opinion) to constantly try to make new batches of slime and I feel bad cause they always end up the same style with different colors. Plus I was running out of contact solution. Oops. Enter this kit! So many supplies for so many varieties of slime! And the containers and mixing spoons? Thought of everything.
Only problem for me was the recipe book as some of them ended up producing more slime than would fit inside a container (especially with fake snow)! But ziplock baggies work so I have some stored in those
