I like the small size and how everything fits into a compact neat package. I don't like the screw on air nozzle. (I have another pump with a quick disconnect clamp/clip on air nozzle and it is a lot more convenient and easy to use compared to the screw on nozzle. I fear cross threading the screw on nozzle and it take a lot more effort to attach & detach. The digital readout is an ok feature (compared to an analog needle gauge), but will it be reliable, we'll see I guess. But here's my big complaint and reason for 3 stars. This thing gets HOT. I used it to increase the pressure on one tire on my car from 34 psi to 38 psi which took about 5-7 minutes to accomplish, and the unit became very hot, and the electrical cord & cigarette lighter plug were hot too. The unit was so hot it was uncomfortable to hold and being so hot after such a short time of use I was afraid to inflate another tire immediately. So I let the thing cool for about 10 minutes and then did the same thing to another tire. Same thing happened, all the same parts got very hot. So if I had to use this to inflate all 4 automotive tires, it would take over an hour including all the time needed to let the unit cool off. So, I feel like I can use it to inflate toys and bicycle tires without risk of the thing getting too hot to handle. But for automotive tire use it's going to be relegated to the one tire emergency-only scenario. Heaven forbid I would need to run the thing higher than 50 psi, I'd be afraid it would burn up and either fail or melt something or worse. Oh, and after I inflated the auto tires to 38 psi, the unit did shut off automatically as designed. But my manual tire pressure gauge said the tires had been inflated to 42 psi. Not sure which device is the most accurate though.
