To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I have not had a problem with this device. I bought it for transferring Windows 10 from my traditional hard drive to an SSD for faster booting and running apps. My Zheino 360gb SSD is doing exactly what I purchased it for. I picked the 360gb because it was slightly larger than the hard drive that I have, and it is not expensive. You will need to order a bracket for it so that you can mount it in a 3.5" drive bay if installing in a desktop PC.
3 Months and 5 days, total failure. Data recovery for the client is crucial but not much hope here. This is my first complete failure of an SSD, I hope this isn't a trend. Amazon says product support for this drive ended 10 days ago! So much for the 3 year warranty.
The Zheino 120GB SSD is nicely packed, includes a SATA cable, and seems to be good quality; but it has the worst performance of 12 brands (120GB-512GB SATA/M.2) I have installed and use, using ATTO for bench marking. Brand new, with no boot OS installed, the read/write performance is great, but even after an initial OS install its performance is completely erratic and it even shows in boot times. I've tried it on 3 different computers but it's always the same so I am not using it. Most SSDs deteriorate over time - see Seagate's document on SSD performance - but not immediately. This is the only one I've seen do so.
Its an SSD, looked fine initially. Ran great initially. I bought two. Put them in my computer, used them occasionally. Both were dead within 12.5 months. One completely is 100 unresponsive and unrecognized by the OS, the other is seen by the OS driver but refuses to be recognized by Computer Manager-Disks. They were cheap, got what we paid for I guess. I would NOT recommend these to anyone who values their time or data. Pay a little more and by something more reliable.
