Read's A Little Slow, But Is a True U3 Card
Reviewed in the United States on March 26, 2019
I got this card for a backup to use in my Sony MX 10 III when I shoot 4K video because it requires a U3 card to record in the highest 4K setting. So the first test I did with this SD card is put in in my camera to see if the camera detected it as a compatible SD card, and It did, so from there, I tested it out recording some clips. It passed so, I decided to run it in a test on my computer to see the read and write speeds, the main benefit is that it writes at 41.0 just a little faster than what is advertised but, I was only able to get 71.6. On read so, just a little slower than what is advertised. I also tried a different card reader to see if it would make a difference, but it didn’t. So that was a little disappointing to find out, but the card works in my camera which I am happy because I now have a reliable backup that works with the highest video setting, so I am satisfied with that. Overall, this card seems to be working just fine, haven’t had any issues with it corrupting data or anything. So if you want a cheap microSD card then, I would suggest taking a look at this one.
