I use this Epsom Salt to soak after intense workouts and I feel like it really helps relax my sore muscles. Since I use epsom salt at least 4 times a week, a good price for bulk is fantastic for my pocket. I also use this to make my own scented bath salts.
This is a lot of Epsom Salt & very heavy box too! Total weight exceeds '36 pounds' the shipment came to my doorstep undamaged & double boxed during shipment and obviously was sent by ground transport to my doorstep. It is probably good for elders who cannot otherwise buy and carry such heavy box to their house. Just order online and someone will deliver to your door. I am surprised that this product is 'Prime eligible' which means delivery in two days! now that you cannot beat for such a heavy item.
Amazon's brand Solimo has never disappointed in their quality and quantity they offer for the asking price. I have always been happy with Amazon's own brands. Also, tell me which company gives you this claim? - "Satisfaction Guarantee: We're proud of our products. If you aren't satisfied, we'll refund you for any reason within a year of purchase". That's Awesome. that clearly shows company does make good products otherwise no one can give that sort of guarantee.
I do use this product for soaking my legs. I would rather use "Transdermal" method of absorbing rather than ingesting it directly. Although one could actually drink a glass or two for laxative purposes. Epsom Salt is Magnesium Sulfate heptahydrate – a compound with seven molecules of water which can be used as Key Nutrients for Plants and growing Vegetables. This salt helps seeds germinate, makes plants grow bushier, produces more flowers, increases chlorophyll production and deters pests, such as slugs and voles.
There is nothing bad about this Salt. But talk to your doctor if you are diabetic and or on magnesium restricted diet or suffer from kidney diseases then this may not be good for you.
Some days you just need a bath. And not just any bath; a bath that will truly relax your muscles, cleanse your skin, and give you a good night’s sleep. If you use Epsom salts, you will get that bath. Epsom salt is magnesium sulfate and it’s great for cleaning your skin, detoxifying you and helping you relax. A quick look on the Internet tells me that people also drink it for constipation though I never tried that.
I have skin allergies and have traditionally tried seaweed and Dead Sea salts and that seemed to help. But my husband (who apparently had really bad acne as a teen and which he treated with Epsom Salts) kept at me to try what he considers a miracle cure. So when I was offered this to try I could not disappoint him. And it does work.
I put two cups of Epsom Salt in the bath and started the water. The salt dissolves pretty quickly under running water and takes a bit of time under still water. Before getting in, I brushed my body with a body brush to get the toxins out and then soaked in a hot bath for about 20 minutes. I then took a shower and used the seaweed body-lotion (so I still got a bit of seaweed), lightly toweled myself and went to bed.
In the morning, my skin looked better and I slept like a baby (no aches or pains) so yes, the Epsom Salts do seem to work. And, compared to other bath/skin treatments especially, you really can’t beat Solimo's price.
So I would recommend Solimo Epsom Soaking Aid. It’s what you need to relax your muscles and rejuvenate your skin.
I am such a true believer in using epsom salt for many things. The uses for this mineral are endless: soaking aid to relieve stress, inflammation, muscle aches, and treating dry & itchy skin. It's a natural exfoliant, and assists in a great pedicure. It's also a great ingredient in home made grout cleaner, and in making other natural cleaning products for your home. Don't buy those cat litter crystals. Use epsom salt instead. Works great and performs better at absorbing odors.
Amazon's brand Solimo has never disappointed me with anything I've used in their line. They always offer great products at the best value. I shake my head in disbelief at the price when I buy a two pound bag of epson salt at the market, but I still buy it because I believe in it. This bulk purchase of Epsom salt is a great value, and very convenient. The crystals are of quality, not crushed into sand. However, if you want finer, smaller granules, they're easily crushed or ground. The crystals, as is, dissolve well in any liquid and the strong, plastic bag is resealable.
My husband and I always keep a sack of Epsom Salts on hand for hot relaxing soaks in the tub to relieve aches and pains. I normally buy 18 oz. bags of Dr. Teal’s chamomile or Target lavender just to add that aroma-therapy factor. But with the addition of a couple of drops of essential oil, the Amazon brand unscented Epsom Salts work just as well at a significantly lower price point. They come in large plastic bags with convenient zip locks for easy storage.
In addition to a muscle relaxer, Epsom Salts are a great additive for plants that need high magnesium levels in the soil - particularly popular garden staples like roses, tomatoes and peppers. It can also be used occasionally as a laxative and also as a natural cleaning agent. This large box of a half dozen 6 lb bags is a decent bargain, comparable to big box discount clubs, and is great to have on hand (if you have room to store the enormous – and heavy – box) for many home and garden tasks.
The Amazon Brand Solimo Epsom salt is as good as name brand Epsom salts, & this value pack gives you 6 large packs. It's nice that they come with resealable bags, & I use the Epsom salt to soak in the bathtub. It seems to help with muscle aches. I was reading that you can use Epsom salt for a variety of household uses, even cleaning tile & grout. Mix equal parts liquid dish soap & Epsom salt, & use a brush to scrub. May have to give this a try because some of those cleaning chemicals can be toxic smelling, & it would be great to find a more natural option. Plus with this huge lot of 36 pounds worth, I have plenty to use. ;) P.S. It's nice to have this delivered right to your door because it's heavy, & If you are considering purchasing, but don't have a need for all of it, you can always share with a friend, family member, co worker, or donate some. Happy Shopping!
An absolute must product for any household to be used for numerous ailments and needs. I personally and recently have used it for hemorrhoids. It is quite effective in relieving pain and inducing better circulation. I soak in it in my bath. It also helps a lot with multiple skin ailments. It is natural and extremely effective. It came in in 6 bags of salt - very heavy - it will last for a very long time. Definitely recommended.
These are over-sized bags of Epsom Salt (magnesium sulfate). Yes, you can get them cheaper at a big-box store, but the convenience of having these delivered to your door is great for busy people or those who don't want to lug these around in and out of a shopping cart. The resealable bag works great, keeping the salt from absorbing moisture.
