Otto can’t be persuaded Reacher is a resurrected serial killer: how about you?
May 10, 2018
Diane just keeps getting better. In Black Jack. She has Kim Otto called out of Detroit and flown to a small town in upper New York across the river from West Point, The U.S. Military Academy. An agent meets her at a small regional airport on a sub-zero night and wont tell Otto why she’s been summoned to New York. Finally after one trip into the countryside to a house as cold as a freezer and with no electricity, the agent guides Otto inside and back to the master bath where a victim is revealed in a bathtub of paint... but again no details. Just as quickly, Otto is escorted out and the agent escorts her to an all night diner, again with no explanation as to why she’s involved.
Suffice it to say the spider has just begun to weave this web of intrigue. All of the usual supporting cast of characters gets involved and the tension mounts as Otto, mostly with no food and very little if any sleep along the way. She even has a rouge FBI agent playing avenging angel. And his ultimate target, non-other than, oh yes, a “big guy, “ who seems to show up in the background, on the fringes, from time to time. REACHER??? This is a must read if you, like me, find Diane Capri’s Hunting Reacher series the most awaited new series.
