Background: I have a shedding dog, so I bought this in hopes that by running it every-day, it would pick up on some of the dog hair on the floor.

What I like:
-VERY easy to use.
-easy to follow instructions
-has a sticker on the bottom so if it ever stops and beeps, you can flip it over and it says exactly what the beeps mean (one beep means one thing, two beeps means another--which is SUPER helpful!).
-color on top clearly shows what mode it is in (blue-ready to go, orange-needs to charge, red-problem to fix-such as emptying the tray).
-very quiet. I can work on stuff with it in the room and it does not bother me at all (my dog also does not mind it).
-works great on white carpet and easily transitions from my living room to dining room (which has a slight bump).
-when its low on battery, it does not die where it is at, it just turns off the vacuum then finds the home doc and charges itself.
-just works really well. I run it everyday and I am impressed by how much stuff it gets (especially when it goes under things such as the couch).
-if it gets caught on a cord, it usually takes 5-10 seconds but then it stops the suctioning and moves away (releasing the cord or other item). However if you have a small cord you should put it up (and you should regardless, I just noticed it doing this a few times and thought it was neat, but I do try to pick up all cords).

What could be improved:
-nothing really in particular to this.
-It does not work well on anything black, but this is true for all robot vacuums. It sometimes gets stuck when it goes on the black carpet we have with the black chairs (I suspect because it can not detect them), but this has not happened often. My dog has a black mat for her food and water and it always bumps into it and spills the water, but again, this would occur with any robot vacuum.
-Also, make sure the doc is against a wall because otherwise it will move and never charge (self explanatory, but I did not do the first time and it kept trying to doc and was just pushing the doc around the floor).
-Finally, you do have to dump out the vacuum particles almost every time you run it (if you do a full circle/battery cycle). It is really easy to dump and beeps when it needs to be emptied. Again, nothing really negative, just something to note.

Overall, I really like this! It does a nice job cleaning up the dog hair and other things that get on my floor and saves me a lot of time not vacuuming daily. If you have a dog, I would watch them with this first before you use it. My dog was initially scared of it but sniffed it's "butt" and now they are cool and she does not mind it at all. Pleased with this product and would recommend! :)

**UPDATE**
On another note, Eufy has amazing customer service! I received an email from them addressing each of my "what could be improved" components with more information on the product. Very impressed.

I ordered this vacuum and when I read the set up instructions, I was shocked to learn it basically needs its own room to dock in. There needs to be 6 clear feet on each side and several feet in front. It’s ironic since I purchased it for a small home never thinking it’s docking space would be an issue. I also was unable to provide this review for several weeks leading me to conclude that the ratings are inaccurate.

I have to say that the customer service is excellent. Item was returned with no issues and I received an immediate response to this comment.

Mine broke on the third day. It was amazing for the first few days and I'm really sad that it didn't last. It kept beeping with an erroneous error code and nothing would make it reset or work again so it is getting sent back. We have tile and hard wood and a few low pile rugs and I'm very happy with how it worked but it seems I'm not the only one who had one broken right away :/

I ordered the vacuum, new, because my old one died. I was extremely excited for it to come. but boy was I let down. When I received the vacuum and opened the box I find that it's a little dirty on the outside. Looking past that, I get ready to put all the parts together, to find out that they are in fact intact already, and have both human hair and dog hair lodged in them. I open the compartment where it collects dirt, to find dirt, hair, and just general grim that you would expect from a well-used vacuum. The instructions were even in a holiday ziplock bag, which was a nice touch. Needless to say, I returned it, but now I'm at a loss as to which vacuum to purchase.

Not impressed with this. Buy an ilife. Much cheaper and works a lot better. This gets stuck all the time. It stops frequently. The bin isn't as big as the ilife. This does not clean in corners well. Leaves behind lots of hair. My ilife doesn't. I put my ilife upstairs and bought this for downstairs. I wanted to compare the 2.

This product arrived USED though sold as new, and was filthy. The dust tray was filled to the brim with dust and pet food and the wheels were embedded with tiny pebbles and grit. Additionally it is not even clear that the product fully works. Will be returning this but want shipping etc paid due to misrepresentation of this product.

 First, I would like to say that Eufy customer service has been exceptional.
The issue; I have had three of these 11S Vacs. All three of them experienced the same issue. After approx 4 months of use, they would not function properly on any carpet surface. Light beige to the color carpet shown in video. They kicker is, all three units would work fine on hardwood or linoleum floors. I have a Sharp and I Robot units for over a year and both work great on carpets. However, the Eufy 11s cleans so much better than either of the others.
With three dogs in the house - HAIR!

Update -- Eufy is trying to say that all three units I sent back, had scratched bumper lenses. That is why they quit functioning properly. I want them to explain to me if the scratched lenses are the cause of the unit failure on carpet -- Why does all three units work correctly on non carpeted surfaces?

Update-- 1/16/2019 / Eufy Anker has agreed to refund purchase price, including a prepaid shipping label. Also offered to send me a $40 item from their Amazon Store as a gift. Like I said, customer service is great. Also, I believe they actually have understood what I have been trying to say. Hope they fix the issue. I would buy again once the issue has been corrected. Their build quality seems to be spot on.

I love robotic vacuums, and as I write this, my other Eufy, Rosie, is merrily vacuuming my main floor while my Eufy upstairs pouts, holding a grudge from when I allowed her to become trapped under the couch.
We had done an all points search for her, when she crawled under the couch and died. Upon finding her hiding place, I put Eufy back on her charger. Her pale orange light pulsed, and I was hopeful that she would recover, but that was not to be. Her light turns blue, causing me to hope that she has fully recovered and is ready to return to her job. Now she just sits on my payroll, apparently she feels entitled to feed upon my electricity, without doing the job she was meant to do. Downstairs Eufy (whom we fondly refer to as Rosie, from the Jetson's maid, Rosie) starts without being told, and does her job without complaint, but I don't want her to become bitter when she realizes that Upstairs Eufy is not doing her share of the work!

I have tried multiple times and now I'm passed my return period. My room is very small, maybe average size room with one bed and a desk in it. When I go to the store I have tried pressing the auto clean "S" button and auto perimeter clean functions. When I get back home, (after about an hour) I'll find the unit not on the charge pad and underneath the bed. I then have to press the "Home" button to get it out from underneath the bed. I also have to manually position the unit in front of the charge pad and guide it into place. Otherwise, it will just go get lost again, or go too far forward on the charge pad and get stuck on the charge pad moving the pad from side to side without going back into reverse to reattempt to line itself back up. The room is average size at best and the charge pad is not anything crazy out of place to make sense of this happening. It does do a decent job cleaning, but I sadly cannot say that the programming or battery life is worth buying this unit.
