Loved It!

I've had One Night in Tehran on my TBR list for a while. I found it through an ebook discount email (although I don't remember which one). I purchased it because I like thrillers and suspense and I also like the books I read to be clean.
It finally worked it's way to the to of my TBR list, however, I found that Luana Ehrlich had written a prequel novella. In general, I don't care for novellas because they're usually too short to flesh out a story. However, I also like knowing three back story of characters in the books I read, so I decided to read One Step Back. I'm glad I did. The story moved along at a steady brisk pace but it didn't sacrifice the details needed to make the story good.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and am looking forward to reading One Night in Tehran.

Good prequel

Having read all the other Titus Ray books, it was interesting to get to read this prequel. As it is just a novella, Ehrlich doesn't develop the plot as much as in the longer books. Since I already knew what happens after, it wasn't as "gripping" as if I was totally new to Titus Ray.

Very good prequel to the T.R.Series. I Had read 1 of the full length books (can t recall which one as I have the complete series ) .
Very exciting espionage stories that are CLEAN ... not the usual GRITTY espionage with somewhat "Superman " agents that many books of this genre. The stories come alive and are well researched , you FEEL as though you are there !!
Christianity is introduced w/o being too preachy. I would encourage anyone ...young or older(er) ha ha, to get these books.

Titus Ray One Step Back was a great book to read. It goes all the components to make a thriller. To find out he was a spy was the first point that interested me quickly drew me into the story. Then I found out he carried a gun and knew how to use it well was another draw. It was fun to learn how he had a covert operation with a fake name and lots of big bucks and CIA connections by satellite phone just really added to the mix. I just couldn't put the book down. Hoped there would be more stories about him, and found out there several.

I love reading prequels as they explain how the main character came to be who he/she is. No disappointment in this one. I have read all 4 books by Luana and will read everything she writes. Master at her craft and keeps me on the edge of my seat with one thrilling situation after another. Clean with sweet romance as well as action that is like reading an intelligence briefing. My favorite genre.

I have read all of Mrs. Ehrlich's Titus Ray books. However, this novella presents the Titus we didn't know. Plus, I like to think of it as a bit of a treat to hold us over until the next book, "Five Years in Yemen" is published! Thank you, Mrs. Ehrlich, for gracing us with your talent! I have enjoyed all the Titus Ray stories.

Luana has the gift of keeping one engaged with her Titus Ray Thrillers. I have read all her books and even though this one brought us back to the beginning of Titus Ray, I was glad to know how he was brought to Jesus. Thanks Luana. I look forward to your next book.

I love this series, so well written, fast moving CLEAN action.
I have only read a few 'Christian' novels because I am somewhat of a literature snob and what 'Christian' novels I have read seem superficial and/or syrupy. But this series has kept my attention and the pages turning from the very start. Well done Mrs. Ehrlich; we hope to see many more from you. God Bless you.

A very intriguing mystery adventure thriller ! Follow Titus Day throughout his undercover as a CIA operator and his intriguing adventure working with his assets in Teheran, Iran !! An interesting and tHrilling story.

Really fast paced story and great intro to the main character. Author very good with character descriptions to the point where I found myself truly liking a character or having my doubts about them. Highly recommend!
