Sad, but Educational. Life is Hard When You are Gay, especially as a Muslim
Reviewed in the United States on February 17, 2016
Very good documentary about three men who discusses their struggles to be Muslim and gay simultaneously. They travel to Israel for the freedom to be gay, but must remain underground in secrecy, which is better than to be killed by their fathers if they were home. However, their stays in Israel is only temporary as they are not able to live normal lives. So, they must apply for asylum in other gay-friendly countries. It also means they are not able to keep their relationships in Israel and must move on to a new country with new lives. Sad, but very educational. Life is hard when you are not accepted by the people around you.
