Andi Lansing has dealt with being overweight her whole life and with people calling her names and not wanting to be her friend. All Andi wants is to be thin, beautiful and have someone to love her.
Just when Andi has reached rock bottom she is offered the dream of a lifetime, a cure and she doesn’t hesitate she jumps on it but who wouldn’t? Andi’s life is about to change drastically. Will she like the outcome?
A Pound of Cure is a great little story about how we are always wanting what we don’t have. A Pound of Cure is a story that will leave you asking is the pasture always greener on the other side?
Great story, quick read. What price would you pay to fit in "normal" society that frowns on those who are overweight. Andi Landsing just want to be thin, but quickly the fix is not as simple as it seems. I enjoy relatable stories with horror twists, start with a believable premise and adds a horror twist. Wow! I enjoyed this, it does have some language in it, as a person who struggles with her weight I can so relate to this story however this story is yet another reason that if I can't lose it on my own I'm not going to, this is really not that far off from fact I mean they do have tape worn pills, in this case like most the grass is most definitely not greener on the other side.
