Amazon.com: Customer reviews: Sonic Electric Toothbrush Rechargeable for Adults - 4 Replacement Heads Orthodontic Cleaning for Braces with 2 Minutes Timer, USB Fast Charging Portable Teeth Whitening Toothbrush Black by Fairywill
I wanted to like this electric toothbrush and I can see why it is getting good reviews but this isn't the toothbrush that I was personally hoping for. I am in my late 60's and my gums are starting to recede. A few years back, I began to develop slight to moderate periodontal disease, my dental hygienist had recommended an electric toothbrush but also suggested to find one with a gentle feel to it. This Fairywill toothbrush is well marketed, seems to have a great customer service team and provides some nice attachments in the package. Also, it seems to hold it's charge very nicely and with all it's features, is a great bargain but is probably more suited for younger teeth and gums than mine. Harder, stronger, faster is not always better with gums and teeth. The brush heads are also a bit too small for my preference. I had been using a cheaper Colgate brand battery operated electric toothbrush with a larger bristle area, which was much gentler to my teeth and gums, unfortunately, it died on me after a couple of years.
In summary, this could be a good electric toothbrush for you but if you have any issues going on within your mouth, you might want to first discuss with your dentist the things to look for in a electric toothbrush that are specific to your needs. I have since made a purchase from an earlier brand and without all the bells and whistles, I am very pleased with it's performance.
Update: This seller has since reached out and offered me a complete refund. I have added an additional star because of their outstanding customer service. I give 5 stars for my experience with the seller.
I love this toothbrush. It is super easy to use and easy to handle. It gets your teeth cleaner faster and better than just a regular toothbrush. I am in love with it!! I definitely recommend this product to anyone.. it is very affordable considering the excellent quality of it! It looks so elegant and sleek and it works so well that I actually enjoy brushing my teeth. I am not kidding when I say that you must try this product! I promise you will not regret the purchase. It’s well well worth it.
First, not only does it work great and for such an affordable price, but it comes with almost everything you need! The set includes the very cool looking all black toothbrush base itself, three brushing heads, an interdental flossing head, USB charging cord, waterproof caps to cover the charging port, and instructions. The packaging this set comes in is beautiful! Every item is wrapped individually and secured inside the box, and the presentation is perfect for gifting.
The toothbrush itself is excellent! My teeth feel cleaner after using this than they did with my almost $100 Sonicare toothbrush. I like that there are three different cleaning settings for deep clean, sensitive, or massage. The cleaning cycle runs for two minutes so you can be sure you are brushing for long enough. I also love that the brush heads are small, it makes it so easy to get behind upper and lower molars as opposed to my old toothbrush that didn’t fit in those spots resulting in cavities.
The only thing I would add to this set is the actual socket port that the USB cable plugs into, I think it should come with one as opposed to having to use your own.
The Oral B toothbrush I had for several years broke in a long-distance move so I found the Fairywell when I was shopping for a replacement. I liked the features and figured I'd give it a shot at this pricepoint. I'm glad I did!
The package arrived, and the contents were attractively and securely arranged. I ordered some extra black brush heads, too, and was initially dismayed because the photo on that box and the description indicated white brush heads. I thought I was going to have to return them. But as I examined the box closer, I found "black" written elsewhere so I opened it. Yes, they were black. I would suggest to the company that they package the black brush heads in a box with a picture and description showing them to avoid confusion. They do cost more than the white ones!
Back to the toothbrush. It arrived fully assembled. I located the USB cord (a plug is not supplied) in the bottom of the box and plugged it into one of mine. It charged in no time and the red light went out.
The brush head is a nice, happy medium between soft and firm. The unit pauses briefly every 30 seconds and shuts off at 2 minutes so you can time your brushing. I find that helpful.
The handle isn't bulky and fits well in my hand. The length of the brush gives good reach to the back teeth. I am a bit concerned that because of the length and relative thinness of the brush rough handling could cause it to snap or break fairly easily. I could be wrong on that but I'm careful with it.
The brush cleans really well. I haven't tried the other settings or the included tool to clean between teeth yet.
I highly recommend, and would have given it 4.5 stars.
This Sonic Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush comes with multiple heads and a charging cord. You'll need your own cube to plug it in to a wall outlet to charge, but since those are kind of ubiquitous these days, it's not that big a deal.
I'm not going to lie. I hate brushing my teeth. I know it's necessary so I do it, but it's probably among my least favorite things to do. I think what I've hated is that it's so inefficient. And so, enter this Fairywell sonic electric brush. Suddenly I feel like things aren't so inefficient. The catalyst for getting this was seeing a promo for an electric brush on Facebook. Someone held up a dirty ear of corn and brushed it with three types of toothbrushes. Naturally, the electric one they were promoting did the best job. I've had two electric brushes in the past, but didn't like either of them, so I wasn't willing to drop another $90 on one that didn't hold a charge. But that ad got me thinking, and this Fairywell unit, being under $25 and having good reviews, caught my interest.
After it arrived I charged it overnight, then tried it in the morning. I was pleased that it had three different settings (normal, gentle, and massage, I think). I much prefer the normal. I have to admit, I didn't read the instructions, so I was thinking I might have rec'd a defective unit when it paused (stopped vibrating) for a second several times during my brushing. It wasn't until I was done that I realized it was pausing every 30 seconds, giving me a cue to change where I was brushing ... 30 secs upper outside, 30 seconds upper inside, 30 secs lower outside, 30 seconds lower inside. Or however you want to do it. Then, after two minutes, it turns itself off. Frankly, I so much enjoy brushing now that I'll even turn it back on and brush longer. (Did I really just say that??)
The brush comes with a clear plastic cover for the bristles, which I place loosely over the head when I'm done brushing to keep any dust off it, which I like. It stands on my bathroom counter when not in use.
The charging receptacle is in the bottom, and I'm finding that I need to recharge it about once a week. I think that's pretty good. I just plug it in at night and it's ready to go in the morning.
I'll probably buy another one for my teenage daughter and slip it into her Christmas stocking. For under $25, I think this is an excellent purchase, and I would definitely recommend it.
I didn’t expect much because it was not expensive but it works great. I saw my teeth a bit whiter in two days and they feel much cleaner on a regular basis. Been using for about 3 weeks.
I do the standard 2 min whitening setting most mornings and nights but when I have a bit of extract time, I’ll do another 2 min just on the front teeth. The brush will pause after every 30 sec telling you to move to a new section.
Everything feels so clean and weirdly makes you want to do a really good job cleaning and spend more time on your teeth.
Would highly recommend as a gift for someone who hates brushing. I dreaeded it most nights and now don’t mind because even if I’m super tired I know it will do a good job.
Also super easy to charge. Just plug the toothbrush charging cord in to a the wall part of you phone charger. Charge last at least 2 weeks
So far, after owning the brush for only a few days, I have found the sonic brush lighter to hold in my hand, and far more convenient than dealing with the more expensive, heavier feeling, thicker handled, brush of the more expensive brands that still come with charger bases. In fact, the battery operated sonic technology is now used by my dental hygienist...and she says that it's the popular wave of the future. No large expensive apparatus and parts that are cumbersome to handle effectively with each patient. Feeling the same way about this battery-charged, USB connecting, wonderful sonic brush: I love it!! :-)
Such a fantastic toothbrush! Beautiful and sleek looking but powerful as well...Thank you for making such a great product! This is the best toothbrush I have ever owned and I have purchased many...the USB charging feature is awesome as well...Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I will refer other people to purchase this product as well. I would give it 10 stars if I could! :)
This Fairywill is my new fave brush. My old fave, the "Dazzle Pro", is not available anymore with the older style thin handle. Too bad, since it has worked well for almost ten years. This Fairywill has a bit fatter handle than the very thin Dazzle, but is thinner than a Sonic-care. Sonic-care rattled my brain, and was too rough on my gums, and too fat in the grip. This Fairywill is just right. In between the Sonic and the Dazzle in power and handle thickness. This Fairywill has a small head which fits in my mouth better than a round head oral-B. Perfect so far. As long as it keeps working this way, I am very satisfied with it.
