I have this product and it works well. Set up was very easy. I was pleased with its performance. These network extenders are actually networks unto themselves because you can still connect your device to the router's original network if you want to do so or you can connect the device to the network extender, which boosts the signals. I saw more than 150% boost in signal. In fact, unless it is absolutely necessary, my view is that it may be best to have at least two to three network extenders of different brands connected to the router. Then, you can connect all your devices to the network extenders instead of directly to the router's network. So, you can connect up to 15 devices connected to the three extenders. Your router will see only three devices (extenders) but your extenders will see 5 devices a piece. This way you can have more devices connected while having the signals boosted remarkably. For example, one extender could be for your cellphone, computer, and ipad. The second could be for your home wifi cameras and personal assistants. The third network extender can be for your roku and wifi televisions. This is a great product and i am pleased with its performance.
After much frustration with our Xfinity WIFI signal we set out to find a quick, simple, and inexpensive solution. The Netgear AC750 Range Extender did the trick. I must admit trying to set-up using the Xfinity router was a bit of a hiccup. The Xfinity router does not have a WPS button to push, in order for the new extender to find the signal. The work around is in using your iphone to set the extender up. After using our cell phone, to set it up, it was a snap. Highly satisfied to be able to watch our Netflix shows now with it pausing or buffering. Get your wifi extender today, you'll be glad you did.
