I'm of the minority, but this book wasn't enjoyable for me

I grabbed this book as it was free and it had 5 star reviews with those claiming how suspenseful and tantalizing this thriller was. Unfortunately, the book was an eye-roll filled disappointment. (Every few pages and, more often then not, several times a page my eyes saw the back of my head. It's hard for me to enjoy a story when it makes me feel that way.) Told through the eyes of the two sisters. The main character was Alexis (Lexie, Lex). She is an odd character. She is the type of girl who no one likes, is very strange, and the only person who has any interest in her during her life is his sister, until she meets a man who has issues much like hers, with the exception of his added narcissistic attributes. The big twist at the end? You'll probably figure it out at the time of arrest at the latest.
The raving reviews confuse me, which is why I state I'm in the minority here. I didn't feel this book was intriguing or interesting. It was flat and dragged on and while I pushed through thinking there had to be an interesting twist or something coming up, I was disappointed when I reached near the end of the book and realized it was too predictable and the main character had long since grated on my last nerve.
I'm in the minority here, so please read other reviews and read the first peek chapter (it does show you exactly how this whole book reads) and make up your own mind.
