Excellent, Rechargeable! Will This Return? (seems so as of May 2019)

I rated this as the best alternative to Snark tuners because:
a) this works, with a clear, no nonsense read-out; can be set for different instruments (bass, uke, gtr)
b) it sits discreetly and securely at the rear of the headstock, not jutting out obnoxiously on a fragile plastic stalk that *will* break (= Snark)
c) it is rechargeable! via USB! no &*%*^! watch batteries!

I would guess the manufacturers may have gotten busted for patent infringement? (because this disappeared completely for awhile)--but now I see it is back, so maybe they just had a slow manufacturing run. But there is nothing else quite like this. A couple of other tuners by major music-accessory people are slightly similar but not as compact and NOT rechargeable. I was astounded when this vanished from the market--hope it comes back (May 2019--it has). There are a few other USB-style chargers, but this is the only one of this shape/ mounting style so far.
These were so inexpensive I was going to buy more.

Great for travel, a little larger than expected.

This tuner stopped working and would not recharge. Since there were no instructions on battery removal or replacement it's completely useless.
I changed my review from 4 to 1 star due to this. The whole purpose of buying this one was to eliminate waste. A single charge use is VERY wasteful!

This tuner is a little larger than I expected. But it works well on my baritone ukulele and guitar headstocks. I had to get used to the vertical orientation. But once I did, I like it. I have it set to guitar to register the baritone ukulele strings. It seems just as accurate and responsive as my d'addario micro ns tuner and son of snark s-3 tuners. The display is brighter than the d'addario, but not as intense as the snark. I love that I can recharge the battery, that will make it an excellent travel tuner. Sometimes on mission trips finding the button batteries is impossible. With this tuner and my travel usb charger, I don't have to worry.

This would be a good tuner for those who are looking for low profile clip-on tuner. It is slightly bigger than the NS micro tuner from D'Addario (see photo). As such, location for installation may be limited for some depending on the type of headstock.

Just got mine yesterday, and it seems to be working quite well. I chose this tuner because of it's compact size, and it is both discrete and highly readable. I understand that it is designed purposely to be displayed on the *back* of the headstock (mounting it on the front causes the display to be read upside down), but, whereas this does hide the tuner from view, that just leaves the clip showing out front instead, which I think is less attractive. Now I just have to set it to 440 standard, and I'll be very pleased with it.

This tuner is not clip and play. Save the instructions from the Amazon product description page. The translated instructions that come with the tuner are indecipherable.

If you're tuning a guitar, set the mode to "G" for guitar and "40" for A440. Then you're good to go. These settings make the unit match the results from my Snark tuner which, unlike the Mr. Power tuner, needs a new battery periodically.

The USB charging cable that comes with the unit is impractically short but you can use any cable that has the same standard connectors.

Great tuner you can leave clipped on the headstock

Loved the size and how it clips on the back side of the head stock. battery life is great for its size and can recharge in the car on my way to gigs would have got five stars but using for a 5 string bass it has a hard time with the low B, like a lot of tuners. Maybe a bass only version could be made? Not sensitive enough to set intonation after changing strings.
