No bargain, essentially a collection of unrecognizable 'B' sides
Reviewed in the United States on November 6, 2019
Obviously the term, "the best" is not something that can be measured or defined, however this collection doesn't contain anywhere near 100 hits. It's approximately ten hits and ninety "B" sides you probably never heard before. And most of the ten "hits" are sprinkled across the first two disks.
I was age 35 - 45 in the eighties and active listening to popular music and dancing weekly (sometimes nightly) at the night clubs. While some band names were familiar, no song was even recognizable (let alone a "hit") from the middle of the third disk and all the way through disks four and five.
Doesn't matter what kind of music you might have liked in the eighties--whether disco, new wave, alternative rock, speed metal, etc., this collection will be a severe disappointment if you were alive as a young adult to listen to popular music in the eighties.
