Amazon.com: Customer reviews: Nulaxy Bluetooth FM Transmitter for Car, Upgraded Manual Power On/Off Switch Wireless Car Radio Bluetooth Adapter Supports Hands free Calls, USB Fast Charging, microSD Card, Aux Play - KM18 Plus Black
I've always been thinking of an in-car Bluetooth FM transmitter for my old 2006 Honda that doesn't have a bluetooth option. After I saw this in my friend's car I decided to try it out. So here are my good, bad and final opinion
The good - 1) Excellent call quality - I originally thought of getting the KM20 thinking its the newer one. I'm so glad i didn't after reading some good reviews where reviewers commented on how their call quality wasn't that great. I have to say this one kicks ass. Crystal clear calls with no lags or low volumes or breaks.
2) Easy pairing.
3) Autoconnect if switch is left on - the moment you get into your car, it'll connect your phone ( if its bluetooth is on and is paired ).
4) The wheel - I am old school and love the wheel. Both for volume and its a click button as well.
5) Aux port and SD slot - so music unlimited in short. Any mode.
6) Sleek design.
7) Charging usb port - always a handy feature.
The Bad - Yet to find one. pretty good device this is and no wonder its highly reviewed on amazon.
The Bottomline - If you want to upgrade your old car by adding one simple, cheap and useful device, then this is it. It gets you many uses in a small package. very functional. Don't think twice on it.

I wanted some way of adding music to my car for a long time. I tried buying a cassette adapter but it ended up getting stuck in the cassette slot. I wanted to connect the phone with a wire because I didn't want my battery to drain with the Bluetooth. Initially I bought this product because it could connect via aux cable, however since it had a power USB outlet I always charge my phone while in the car so not only my battery does not go down, but it actually charges.
The pros I find for this product are: -The multiple ways of playing music aux, Bluetooth and memory slot, they are all very useful depending on what method you prefer. -The On/Off button. This button helps me to eliminate the fear of draining my battery because I left the device on. I just push the button every time before going out of the car and you can be free of any worries. -The next & back buttons. Having this buttons let you change your songs without having to unlock your phone, this allows you to continue driving without interruptions and dangerous distractions. -The discrete, yet at the same time elegant design. It is small enough to go unnoticed if you do not look for it. However, if you do notice it, the KM-18 adds an elegant and distinctive touch to your car.
Honestly, I do not find a lot of cons to this product. The first time I set it up the bass sounded too profound and made my speakers sound weird, however I just set it up in another FM frequency and the issue was solved instantly. The sound quality from then on has been perfect. Other than that, the setup just took around 3 minutes. Another "con" would be that there is no microphone included, however I have never had a complaint over the phone that the person on the other line can't hear what I am saying.
In conclusion, this product gets the job done just how you would expect. I did a little bit of research before buying and a lot of reviews pointed towards this product, I can see why. For this price I believe it's one of the best choices you can get if you want to add some audio inputs to your car.
I have the km18,which I like very much, but then I found out about this model with the equalizer feature.I think this one does have improved sound quality over the non-equalizer model.
The eq has several different modes to choose from, like jazz, rock, pop, etc.I think it sounds best set on rock for me.I mostly listen to hard rock/death metal, and hip hop with heavy bass.
Another nice feature over the older model is this one remains set at the same volume after turning it off/on.Of course, like the older model,it also automatically connects to the bluetooth on your phone each time you use it,once you set it up the first time.
The usb port is another very nice feature,so you can easily charge your phone without needing to use a separate charger.
Like the older model, the screen is easy to see in bright daylight, yet not at all overly bright at night.
I bought this product last week and used it over the weekend. Tried driving the car for few hundred miles and the FM transmitter works great. Even in areas with not many vacant FM slots as well it worked great. The phone microphone could have been better, as when you respond to calls you need to yell on top of your voice for the other person to hear well, so i end up using my headphones for talking. That is the reason for the 4 stars. That is the only issue, otherwise for the price this is a great transmitter.
After using my sisters bluetooth device in her car (she owns the model before this one) I knew I had to get one for myself and for under $20 it was a price I couldn't beat. I had been thinking about switching out my radio but this saved me not only time but money. I've had it for about a little over a month and it works great. Sound is clear, shows me how much voltage is in my car battery, easy bright display and I like how I can change the songs on the device itself instead of unlocking my phone and having to do it that way. I have a 2001 toyota rav4 and it works perfectly.
No matter what radio station I try yo program this to the sound is static. Its well made, but the sound is horrible. I just use it to charge my phone at this point.
Product Update 12.23.2017 After reviewing the product, the seller reached out to me via email and offered a replacement. I agreed. Have since tried it out and will say that it's an excellent product. The first one I received must have been defective. I set those new one up and have had no issues with static and it also charges my phone very fast. But to me costumer service is everything and I was very surprised that they reached out to me and offered a replacement, that I then got in 2 days time.
I've been using this Nulaxy KM18 Plus for 3 to 4 weeks now in a 2005 Silverado, and I have to say that I'm pleasantly surprised. The bluetooth functionality is even better than I expected. Calls come through loud and clear. People I'm talking to say that they can hear me clearly and that it just sounds like I have them on speakerphone. I haven't streamed music via bluetooth, so I can't comment on that. I have about 16GB of music on a 32GB micro-SD card and this thing reads it flawlessly. The "random" function works well, which is necessary since it doesn't read playlists. The one thing that disappoints me is the sound quality. It's not realistic to expect CD quality sound, but I did expect it to sound as good as my favorite radio station. It just doesn't have quite as good dynamic range, signal-to-noise ratio, stereo separation, etc. - sounds more like a low quality "local" station. All in all, I'm happy with this purchase. I wish they made these with a bigger screen and better sound quality - I would pay more for one.
With all the great reviews I went ahead and overlooked the bad reviews but to listen to music static is annoying also plus trying to find a clear fm station is not easy. However after playing a bit if you reset tuning options like base, treble plus the volume on phone vs radio and nulaxy it is pretty clear. For the price I’m happy not perfect but better than buying a new car. One other thing for cars with auto antenna they stay up all the time while using this product so be cautious at the car wash.
five stars for me, love it, the bad part was that my phone Samsung 8 active didn't have the supporting Bluetooth connection, so I try my S3 frontier watch and walla it work I only listen to spotify even if it's not my phone I'm still happy that my watch can connect.
after trying it for sometime it finally connected to my S8 Active phone, and it works marbles sound is really good
1-23-2019 after having it for a while now it still works like a charm, sound is still good and connection, the little down side is that when I start to hear static that when I change the radio station other than I still love this gadget, and well worth my money
