Totally bare bones 2017 Spectrum Music (Europe) 5-disc box set of 101 hits from the 1960s (20 tracks/ disc except for #3 at 21); times are 55, 56, 57, 46 & 55 minutes. Just like listening to 60s AM radio – rock, R&B, folk, reggae, cross-over country tracks. All tracks seem to be original recordings; the majority are in stereo; selections lean slightly to the British side (so some songs may not be familiar to the casual music fan – I knew all of them). Sound is great (re-mastered??), and playback volume between songs is consistent (great for making your own comp from a computer – btw, Windows Media Player recognizes all the disc info). No info except for song title/ artist on back cover of the 5 fold cardboard case; each disc slides into separate open-at-each-end slots and are very hard to slide out – luckily since the discs are only partially full, if the disc must be grabbed to assist in sliding out, you aren’t going to get fingerprints on any encoded part of the disc. If you were a teen in the 60s, this set is a no-brainer, especially at this low price.
