Be Aware that the voltage of this battery is not 1.5 VDC, but rather 1.8 VDC.

The voltage will go down as the battery is used, however dependent upon how many batteries are used in series will determine the final voltage going to whatever is being powered. For example if three of these batteries are in series ie.(-+-+-+) instead of a regular alkaline battery which would be 4.5 volts, these batteries would be slightly higher than 5.4 volts. That is a 20% increase in Voltage. For a given fixed load of let's say 100 ohms the power will rise 90 milliwatts over the alkaline battery which which would produce 202 milliwatts + 90 milliwatts which is a 45% increase in Power. It depends upon what the load requires in the device you are powering with these batteries, You need the knowledge of the circuitry to determine if it will damage your device or not. For a simple flashlight you will definitely see a much brighter light or it may burn out the bulb or LED.
