Picky K-9 Loves Greenies!

I have a 65lb Golden Collie mix who is the pickiest eater. He won’t eat his dog food unless mixed well with a raw egg, has seasonal allergies up to Ying Yang and up until about 3 years ago wouldn’t touch a dog treat no matter what we tossed at him. We tried regulR milk bones, rawhide, special treats from a “cookie bar” at a pet store, pigs ears (yuck). You name it, we tried it! My neighbor at our new home loves Henry.. she religiously walks him every morning for a good 1-2 hours (depending on weather). She started giving him a Greenie everyday after their walk and now it’s the treat of choice for this household. He LOVES them. They are gone within minutes but that doesn’t bother anyone. I’m just so happy we found something he enjoys. We usually give him one in the morning
And maybe 1-2 through out the day and I would say two 36oz box of Large treats lasts almost a month. I usually buy 2 boxes at the beginning of the month and they will last me almost to the end... The price really isn’t an issue as again, I don’t buy any other treats or toys for him. He doesn’t like bones or squeaky toys. He loves balls but those we only play with outside and 1 tennis ball can last years with him. If it’s one splurge on my 4 legged friend and he loves them then it’s worth every penny!

The main images show a box of greenies with a 24 count. I did not read the description carefully enough where it says only 4 bones are included! I wish the picture accurately showed the product! My dogs like them and they get rid of the bad breath but they are too expensive.

Our dogs LOVE these. I really can't say if they clean their teeth well or not, as they are devoured in only a few seconds.
The huge con here is the price. If I can see they are helping clean their teeth than I will buy again. If not, there are much better options for treats.
Edit: After a month I do not see or smell any difference in tooth cleanliness or breath freshness. Both dogs devour these to quickly for them to possibly do any good. Both dogs do love to eat these as treats but have also been throwing up. I can't say it is this product that did that, but neither had stomach issues before I bought these.
For us, we will not be buying these again nor recommending them.

You’re not paying for what you get! The picture says a BOX of 24 but I got a BAG of only 4, yes just 4, bones. I thought maybe I wasn’t paying attention when I bought the Greenies and ordered a smaller amount. Looking at my orders it shows/says bag of 4, but when I clicked on the title of the product it shows the box of 24 bones you just looked at. Now looking at the pictures and lower rated reviews I know I’m not the first they’ve done this to. Definitely going to try to return these.

Product displayed was for a box of 24 large dental treats what I received was a package of 4 dental treats. I guess I should have read the description closer but then again I went with the description on the box depicted on the ad. Shame on Amazon and Greenies for making a false representation of the actual product...

Oh my goodness. Maybe just not what I was expecting? They're so soft that I think they barely grazed my australian shepherds' teeth! One of them ended up with explosive diarrhea and another drank so much water he peed in the house! This never happens...they're not puppies! I'm going back to elk antlers and benebones. :(

I know many people use these without issue. But my package had moths in it. Super disgusting and I threw it out.

This review is not for the product. Always been happy with greenies, my dogs love them. HOWEVER, this posting is for a 24 count box, for 19.99, and I received a 12 count bag. I would not have purchased for this price, as I can get them cheaper elsewhere. Pretty pissed about that.

He liked them: I didn't like the resultant digestive issues and subsequent cleanup. After this scenario repeated itself more than once, and I was sure that the Greenies were causing it, I threw them out.

Picture ahouldnt show the big size box. Should show the actual tiny bag you get.

Our 6 month old labradoodle has had issues with bad breath, so we bought him some Greenies as we had heard good things. Only two days into using them exactly as described on the box, we woke up to him throwing up bile. Since then, we have had issues with him having diarrhea, constipation, lethargy, etc. We have since gone to the vet and incurred a $300 vet bill, and when I tried to return the product as a result of our dissatisfaction, I learned this item is ineligible for returns. Please do your animal (and your wallet) a favor and DO NOT BUY this product.

After my dog puked within minutes of eating this I wondered if it had anything to do with the Greenies I'd been ordering from Amazon without any problems in the past. It happened two more times and I knew there was something very wrong with these Greenies. I'm now going to buy this strictly from a bricks and mortar store.
