A Happy Ending (not the massage parlor kind) has it out for Ella, who definitely does not want to do as she's told. In a long, overly drawn-out tale, Ella has to avoid matrimony while disrupting another, and finding her mother before the fairy godmother makes her happy,
I think this book was far too silly for me to enjoy. Especially Windy.
Here's what I didn't like: the excessive fart/ bathroom humor. I felt it took too long for the HEA to show up in a way to trap Ella into .. a hEA. There was too much build up for every little fairy tale reference. At 40%, I wished it was over, and that was barely into the real meat of the plot. After about 40%, there were editing errors, missing punctuation, and quotations. Could have used better proofreading. Too much repetition of the same thing within a couple paragraphs of one another. The ending felt rushed.
Here's what I liked: the wolf. the idea behind the story, and the dwarfs were wildly different.
Overall, it felt far too drawn out, and I began skimming so it'd be over faster. I didn't really miss anything and didn't feel confused by the end.
