Tip loves these. I've asked him many times, " Why do you like these so much?" He very rarely answers, but when he does, he sneezes. That might seem strange to some folks, but in doggie it means " That's the right stuff! " It also means "Throw me another one right now!" These are small enough to use as a small tasty treat, or a reward for a "Good Doggie!" exercise. The fun part? Get their attention and skate one across your kitchen floor. Watch that doggie go! Then switch directions, and there they go again! Repeat till you've laughed yourself silly, or doggie gets tired- whatever comes first.
I bought these thinking they were the regular size (i.e. not the large dog size) and it turns out that they are snack size. In other words they are about half the size of your little finger, intended as 5 calorie treats to use during dog training. This is written on the box in the picture but somehow I missed it. Not a problem for my dog, but not the size I was expecting either.
Overall this is a great product and actually lists the calories on the box so you can monitor your pet's intake.
I have three dogs, a tea-cup Chihuahua, a Yorkshire Terrier and a mix bread medium sized dog. All three will choose these treats over every other crunchy treat I have tried. This are a bargain here verses even my local wally world price and with my Amazon Prime they ship free and quick. They make larger ones also for bigger dogs, these are very small and any dog over about 30lbs would need the next size up IMHO.!
My dogs are picky, spoiled jerks. And years ago they decided to stop liking hard or crunchy treats. I think they reckoned them as too much like their regular food. Now that my dogs are on a diet (they are fat) they do tricks for these!
